The perfect mixture between what you are good at and bestselling files.

So look at the bestselling files and find the ones you think: I can do that!

Good luck

You have almost 1000 items and most items actually get rejected?

Wow! Are you man or machine?

Just kidding :)

I agree with Much of what the previous posters say:

Shape is fine, text needs work. I Find the font to thin and too weak. Also look at spacing between font and shape.

I don’t think they’re bad designs. I don’t think they are super fantastic either.

I think your main problem is that you are trying to upload to a category which is already saturated and which Envato itself states that they do not need any new files for.

Therefore unless it’s super awesome it’s more likely to get rejected than in the other categories.

....why don’t you just get a mockup that is on something else than infinity backgrounds? There are so many flyer mockups floating around here, surely you can find a suitable one?

Also, I’m not sure I really understand your question fully. If you want to use a table background, why don’t you get a nice stock photograph from Photdune ( or any other stock photo site of your choice ) and work it in?

Lastly, without seeing at least an example of your work it’s pretty hard to judge what you’re trying to achieve.

He only offers free colour and text customisations. So it’s more a question of support as opposed to actual customisations. That’s ok.

I would imagine that anything else would be shooting yourself in the foot – no-one can afford to work for free!

You will notice that 99% of items here use free fonts. This is because usually the user does not want to pay for your item and then pay a substantially higher amount for the font used in your item.

Therefore it has become common practice to use free fonts. Items with licensed fonts will probably nbot sell well on this marketplace ( there are exceptions ).

I’m not sure I understand why you are looking for the “largest” site selling fonts. You need to find the one that sells “your font” – the one you wish to use in your design.

fonts.com is a good place to start fontsquirrel and dafont are good for free fonts

I judeged on the preview image you linked to:

http://i.imgur.com/U6G6NRN.png

This is what my comments were directed at.

If that is not the correct one, could you upload the one we could comment on? Then I may change my opinion, or be happy to let you know what I think.

Nobody here is “against you” or doesn’t “believe you” – we’re just trying to help.

No they don’t.

I have to be blunt here:

The reviewer is right and Deep Blue is right: the preview it looks bland and somber. I would not buy these icons. I have however bought others. Their previews looked infinitely more attractive than yours.

I do not understand where you get the idea that “EVERY” preview here on GR looks like yours. Last month I bought this set:

http://graphicriver.net/item/business-icons-blue-series/5330003

The preview doesn’t look anything like yours. It looks attractive. It looks like the guy behind designing the icons also took the time to present them in a polished way. This attention to detail in his preview makes me trust that his work is just as detailed. I was not let down.

Do you see the difference?

Cheers

Chris

P.S.-: I hope linking to the item is ok, it’s not my item and in no way do I wish to advertise, simply to make a point.

I think the reviewer is actually helping you and complimenting you. He’s saying that your work is actually much better quality than a potential buyer may think when looking at your preview image.

If your preview is rubbish and your work is great it won’t matter, because people only see the preview. Try and take the advice to heart and improve your preview, but will then also improve your sales.

The reviewers not trying to harm you, he’s trying to help you make more sales.

I don’t see anything unfair in this

Cheers
