So, I own a blogish site that gets roughly 15 million hits per month, currently on Drupal. Long story short, I would like to move it to another CMS . I did not build the site initially and it’s a mess functionally. Although I have built countless sites/themes/apps on WordPress in the past, I’ve never run WP in a high traffic environment and am curious to hear from others who have: what was your experience?

I would like to avoid theoretical answers and hear more from those who have actually had success or failure using WP with a similar traffic load.

Any thoughts much appreciated!

Anyway, I seriously didn’t believe it but DDSTUDIOS ONE AND ONLY , FIRST AND LAST COMPLIMENT TO ENVATO EVER , was actually hung on the wall. I took the liberty to take a picture of it.

Classic.

Wow, im finding it really fast. Like really fast. Really impressed. Will still be using Chrome as my default as I play with FF4 but first impressions are great.

I don’t get it… for what is this service good for?

Simple and neat way to highlight aggregated/static data on your site. You get some stats on it as well. I’m playing with it as a replacement twitter bar.

I’ve also been using them for years. I migrated to their VPS package for all my personal/prod sites (including theme demos) and reseller accounts and have been very happy.

On another note, are you insane! Leaving your earnings in the marketplace is about the worst thing you can do with your money. At the very least transfer it to PayPal and sign up for their money market account so you can earn some interest on it. Seriously, you are doing Envato a big favor by just letting that money sit there because they’re probably earning interest on your money every month. Even if they are not doing this, I don’t recommend leaving the money unclaimed for extended periods.
