A little off-topic
I’ve had a ssd ocz agility 2 (60gb) that died after 30 days of use. I won’t buy another ssd very soon.
I don’t envy anyone, I just respect the authors that come up with original stuff. Practice makes better
I use Dreamweaver / jedit. Jedit is a really nice little editor that most folks tend to overlook.. for a couple of reasons, its default skin is beyond ugly and its Java.
However, reading this post inspired me to redownload it and try it again.. I fixed up its colors / fonts so it is quite nice to look at now, and it has the things I need in an editor:
1)Split pane, unlimited splits, vertical and horizontal, documents in each. 2)Code folding, not the usual kind, but the kind where you can actually place where you want the folds. This makes handling big docs waaay nicer 3)Inbuilt ftp supportDo any other editors support these 3?
Aptana Studio has a lot of themes and there’s one named Dreamweaver that colors your code just like Dreamweaver. Aptana is very nice but I prefer Komodo Edit because to me it seems a little faster and the code hints are more precise.
I have used n++ in the past but an editor that has code hints will improve your timings
Just my opinion.
What? .. What do you mean?
Maybe you wanted to say ‘convert your HTML templates to WordPress themes’?
