Wow, I was looking for this plugin again and ended up on the authors main site and BOY does he have a bunch of useful plugins released.

This one sounded particularly useful: http://www.unwrongest.com/projects/lazy/ but there are a dozen others that all look great.

Hypothetically would the contest only be open to brand new templates? Or could they be templates that received a massive update during the contest?

Left two replies this morning that both showed up instantly. Looks to be fixed! Big thanks to the dev(s) that sorted it out.

That’s fine but it would reduce the impact on sales by randomizing and again not help users to easily see what they came here for – wordpress or html or php etc

The featured space on the front page doesn’t sort in any way, its just all categories displaying thumbs in one place. Its not so much about finding what they came here for as it is about presenting the user with something they may not know they need yet. Even if its random, its still an extra pair of eyes that may have never noticed the item buried on page 8 of a category they wouldn’t have otherwise visited.

Maybe we could just have a page that displays random templates. Or something like Wikipedia’s “Random Article” link that just jumps you to a random page. I wouldn’t random mindlessly hopping around a web of templates for a while.

More info: the replay comments seem to be held in limbo until another top level comment is made. two times now I’ve seen a reply hang for extended period of time then show up right when a new top level comment does.

Sorry for all the replies, just trying to report all the info I can to help the devs get it fixed.

Its been hours now and the comment has yet to surface. Should we still be experiencing this kind of delay or do I need to submit a ticket?
