Look man stop complaining! Ok now thats out the way lets get to some constructive feedback of your theme and why it was rejected:
Layout: It appears you are using a responsive grid (good job). However your overall page layout needs some work. For example, your navigation menu looks weird. Furthermore, your logo is breaking your grid by peaking pushed further off to the right. Line it up with your other elements.
Target Audience: I have no idea of what audience you are targeting. Or if there even is one.
Typography: It does not seem to fit with anything or goes anywhere (talking about your headline type). It also seems a little large
Originality: Here is the real problem. Your site is unoriginal and gives off a half baked unfinished look. Themeforest thrives on uniqueness, something that your theme is lacking.
Spacing: Spacing overall looks kind of weird in some places. For example, the orange “Go” box for your search bar is not lined up properly with the actually search box and your text within the orange box is scrunched in the righthand corner.
Hierarchy: There are some elements that seem to be competing with each other. For example your logo and the navigation menu (especially when you hover over and the orange box appears).
Other: Your icons seem oddly large and thus is messing with your hierarchy in the footer.
Features: It lacks them. Plain and simple. On Themeforest you are doing more than creating a pretty theme. You are customizing it to meet a vast number of needs by the people that come through here.
Conclusion: Sorry dude but your theme needs some major work. Follow what the reviewer tells you rather than bashing them. Place your ego aside. Once you do that then you will see that your theme is far inferior than the ones that has been coming out lately.
Be patient with yourself. Step away from the computer and go back to good ol pencil and paper and create wireframes of the site you want to build. Furthermore… RESEARCH !!! Unfortunately a lot of peoples themes from what I hear and see through the threads get rejected because they are not taking enough time to do through research of Themeforest items and basic design principles.
Again slow down, calm down, and for goodness sake have fun!
I dont know if its my computer or something but as I navigate the menu to each of the menus sections, the titles are cut by the header a little bit as it jumps from page to page
I would loooove an invite to!
I get my inspiration from websites, magazines, and just my surroundings in general. No need to always be stuck at the computer. Design inspiration can come virtually from anywhere if you just look with openness
are you looking for a designer, requesting a template, or something?
I see that you keep referring to the Openhouse Wordpress theme. You do realize this theme is from 2010 and all other reality themes dates back to 2008 or later? Design aesthetics and trends has changed dramatically over the past 2-5 years. So what was cool and eye catching before does not mean it is now.
Furthermore, just because it works and looks good for Apple does not mean its going to work or look good for everyone or everything else.
You say that the standards for real estate themes isn’t good. I really agree with you. But again what was cool and trendy in 2010 is probably not as pleasing to some now in mid 2012.
Any whoot I wish you the best of luck in developing your theme
it kind of reminds me a little of a different restaurant theme I seen on here http://themeforest.net/theme_previews/525145-spicylicious-food-store?index=1
gonna have to stand out a little bit more
I like the concept but much of it needs to be improved before you submit this.
The first thing that I notice is that there are some navigation problems, it just a little bit
Secondly, there does not appear to be enough content on it. Seems bare and really plain
Thirdly, some bits of your typography is hard to read…your headlines in your gray boxes needs more contrast.
