hi, i don’t have recommendation, but i’m planning to create such a plugin in the weeks/days to come.
i have nearly 20 WordPress items on Codecanyon and i am asked very often by Themeforest authors to allow them to include into their themes my plugins.
As you might know, i have to agree for them to be authorized to use my plugins.
Bu the thing that i don’t understand is why extended licences on Codecanyon are so low ? I mean, take the example of a TF author that wants to include my plugin into a premium theme. Basically, he’ll pay the extended licence around $90 and will sell his theme $45. It means that with 2 sales he’s doing his “plugin return on investment”. And then… he starts making money while i’m losing buyers.
Is this something that will change or not ? I know many CC authors that do not want their items to be included simply because when it’s done, the major part of the profits are going the TF author and not to CC authors.
Am i the only one this find this a bit unfair?
to be honest i wasn’t expecting so many nice messages! That’s very very kind of you guys!
Once again many thanks! Today is a good day!
Many thanks, once again this marketplace is awesome!!!
Thanks! next step is to be among the best 150 top sellers on Codecanyon, i’m 158th for the moment!
Hey ! I just got 1000 sales! That’s quiet a lot! So i wanted to thank every single buyer of my WordPress plugins, and i also wanted to thank the whole Envato team. Thank you so much!
I also noticed that since a few weeks there are many new authors doing great stuff, and that’s very promising for the future. Keep on working guys!
I also wanted to thanks inspiring people like Pippin Williamson (Mordauk on the marketplace), and Pixelworshop (we have a shared Codecanyon and Themeforest account) that are doing amazing items!
And finally i just wanted to say that Envato is an incredible place for people like us to share, learn, discuss, sell, buy etc… that has equivalent on earth… so, a huge thanks to Collis who had this briliant idea!
