My project is not based on tutorial. In deep all our projects are based on tutorials that we were learning from. My project is not based on it I just looked how to make those particles swirl, that is it. I am purist (I love pure AE with no plugins) so I tried my best to make it as realistic as posible.

I didnt copy it, it’s just one detail of many in my hardwork was inspired by this particle effect.

My nick name comes from old times when I used to play Quake 3:Arena for real, it was like my second life, whatching all those demos of pro players and trying to be the best, and there was a player called crz, i loved the way he plays and i were in love with his nickname also, so somehow I made up name called cyzer and it is still the same to this day. I think everyone of us played Quake, Unreal or CounterStrike thats for sure. I don’t play such games anymore, now I play the only and the best Game called AE ;D

I don’t get it anymore… Why the hell is there so many items accepted by envato which are total ripoffs ? i.e. this “Disco City” is hell-a-well known project, and is uploaded by user MarcoHD. Do I even need to make a ticket about this ? So who are the reviewers if they let this through? Ok. yes my angryness is not just made up. I have my own reasons why. My item was rejected because there was this little smoke element.jpeg which i accidently forgot to replace with my own made. Sure its not just about replacing texture. The project itself was not even close tho that of V..deo C..pilots..

I have no words to describe my dissatisfaction. Maybe if that would ended in soft rejection maybe this would be ok, but now that was just incredible and mean.

So let’s go back to those projects here, wich were made by real authors.. like myself and then copied by authors with no respect to us and which is just hunting for dollars. I couldn’t sleep all night because of that. And in the same moment there are those copiers who just lives easily without doing the hard work? Now ofcourse VH mods will warn me about some very strickt rules of copyright, yeah sure tell it to MarcoHD and that guy who copied super famous Transformers logo sting, and just ripped of the project from M..x A..ter.

No i am not whining.. for real I am realy almost crying because of my angryness and untruth that is going on.

This is a good idea. But i would rather enjoy in seeing this feature added and responsible for work which is different and interesting.

Doesnt have to be item with many purchases but just item which is just different from all others, original and missed/underrated by buyers.

Something like featured item of the week but chosen by authors, not VH mods or revs. i guess this would inspire and let authors inhale some fresh air and productivity. this would increase people with new ideas because vh is missing them. I am not saying they are not here but its just few.

And those authors who have less sales would have a chance to get Pure Noncomercial Honour.

Hello, umm maybe this thread would be used more times, and i thought why not to start it. So… my question would be, how to make the audio in AE auto react? I mean normaly to make something react to audio, you need to use comand keyframe assistant and then convert audio to keyframes. But if i made a template which already has audio and there are motion which reacts to this audio(expresions), how to change audio without generating new keyframes (using keyframe assistant)?

Oh thats a realy interesting topic you got here guys First thing to mention is that the comunity here is awesome, you all are so adicting and fun.

My story: One day I were in my full time job (Video & Audio engineer) sitting there searching for some new musical tracks for new TV show called Prophets, I needed something mystical and spooky So i just kept searching all those free sites and so on, until i found Audio jungle (sure I create music myself but I am more of a sound FX engineer not the music).

soo.. I found Audiojungle, Bought one track with work account, then second, then third, I thought I should try to sell my own music…

So I started.. uploaded few tracks, and one day unexpectedly I pressed something wrong and saw that there is not only Audiojungle but all those other matker places, I thought wow.. let’s have a look And don’t know why but it just happened so that AE is my all time favorite post-production app. So here I am Coming here every day, and I will be honest with you, 70% of time I come here not to look at my sales but here, the forums ;D it became my every day habbit. I think it’s right time to ask.. Is there and was there any VH meetups ?

Currently I am developing new projects and hunting for badges can’t find any way to collect some new ones

I think envato is realy missing out on this one, because there are realy big demant on Encore DVD projects. Why they are not here? Dev’s should realy think about putting this category of projects into VideoHive. C.C.

free items would totaly destroy principles and succes of VH. even the free birthday bundle has disadvantages. people never apreciate what they get for free. the only great idea would be something like galery of top rejected filers. why? its simple, that would encourage people to do more double checking and projects would be with more quality. so no one would like to be in that galery, ofcourse this can be pointed into other direction, promotion of author or something like bloopers, the funny galery. so anyway, no freebies.
