Yeah, double thread Soon it’s going to be triple if this problem is going to persist
Well I understand it’s a really great video and I don’t expect something of the same complexity.
Regarding the story – I don’t have a specific one but more just want to see the parts exploded and put together like that.
I want something around 2 minutes max.
I want something still obviously slick and good quality but I don’t expect so amazing like that. Music and Story I will sort out. I need someone who can draw/animate/render the video.I could go upto like $600 for this.
I think that what Efekt is meaning is that an $800 budget is not even in the right ballpark. It’s not even in a city where there is a ballpark. It’s not worth talking about creating a 2 minute 3D animated sequence for that kind of budget.
I’m not trying to be rude; you’re not to know the time, costs and complexity involved. But it’s also a “buyer beware” to you. If you do find someone offering to do something like this for $800, then you will in all likelihood run into severe problems or get a very low quality result, because if someone is offering this kind of service for $800 then they have no idea what they’re doing. Hey, you may get lucky and find some incredibly gifted student, but if someone like that hasn’t already been snapped up by a studio at a day rate of at least $400, then I’ll eat my hat. When I said that commercially the right ballpark for a job like that is starting at $50,000, I wasn’t joking. Given the high end nature of the product on display here, I would expect that they paid significantly more than that.
Generally, jobs like this are broken down into areas of experitise. There will be modellers, animators, texturers, lighting guys and generally someone there to monitor workflow and rendering. Then you will have concept developers and a producer on the job, together with a several compositors.
It’s not impossible that an individual can do all this, but you need to find an individual with a VERY broad skills set, a VERY fast computer (preferably a render farm), several thousand dollars worth of extraordinarily complex software that they are able to master…. (i.e. they have several years’ worth of experience). Oh yeah… and they need to be willing to give up their time and equipment for a month or two, for the sum of $800.That, in a nutshell, is the problem.
felt_tips…. sometimes I just love him… realy.
@uaesthetics still interested ?
doru saidSome free vector elements would be great!
No one is allowed or should promote any other external websites, databases, ftp sources for freebies on forums. And you obviously know why. I flaged it, sorry. But I wouldn’t like if someone would go to VH forums and stars talking about sources to free footage or free AE templates. It just doesn’t work that way, does it?
But anyway. Yes you are right. Have seen that idea copy of polanskis work just yesterday. Must be a headache for mr. Polanski
Lots and lots of similar work in here. You can start puking just by seeing all those video displays in 3D space, coming in everyday…
