yes, thats bothering me too, realy. I get constant messages from AJ authors, mostly the letters are all the same that they like my work and I am the greatest author on VH and they like to cooperate with me and they create great music, then they post some links to their new a j music, and asks me to comment or tell me if I am interested in making some templates and adding that music/sounds.
Also I get bunch of fake followers from AJ, who are not interested in my work just wants to follow me to get noticed. that is very annoying, they follow then unfollow, because I see that actualy when I release new item sometimes the number of followers actualy lowers, and now I understand why, its because they spot my project on the front page and then they decides its time to unfollow me because they actualy have no interest in me anymore.
to be honest I started to look at AJ authors as gypsies, not all of them but many…
Sorry guys, its not the way you make your way through…

CINEMULTIC – you cannot produce any templates right now, you haven’t got the basics of the visual author self awareness. What is visual author self awareness ? It is when you create like and author and then turn the author mind OFF and turn the client and buyer mind ON. You have to look at your project from alienated perspective.
Could you look into a mirror lift your hand up and study that hand like its not yours ? Look at the details, find something new, some new spots on the skin, look at your nails, surprise yourself how it is made, deside if you have beautiful hands or not. and only then understand that this hand is yours. Now look at the template like someone else made it. Would you be surprised ? Would you buy it ? would you like to tell author of that project how it could be improved ? OK, now realize its your project. Tell yourself how it could be improved.
Create it as author, look at it as buyer.
Improve it, change it, imagine how you want it, then create how you want it.
The creation has two ways:
first way is you open the AE, then you try all effects and look how it goes, how it looks, how the animation is affected by each effect, you experiment and you try to come up with your new animation. Your hands is faster than your mind. This way is shit.
the second way is when you create your animation in head, or create a still picture in head, you know what each of effects will give, you know what effect to choose, you dont experiment you just replicate the animation which is already made in your head. Your mind is faster than your hands. This way is when you start making animation and templates.
Good luck

Got gtx 690 , 4gb. For me cs6 is super fast. Ray tracing is very detailed and fast.
Tried both – with cpu rendering and with my GTX 690. so I could actualy compare waiting times like 40 seconds to 8 seconds. so its probably 5 times faster.
by the way the level is 9
I still dont like the CS6 though… and that raytracing is crap
its very slow compared to Element 3D, and is very very limited. You cant do anything with it which would be unique and more original. I will try doing some templates on CS6 because I got my new BEAST pc just because of the CS6 and upcoming AE C4d mix., but i still dont like CS6..

Oh boy, that’s brilliant! I’m terrible for that. I’m sitting on a folder full of half finished projects.
I guess I like starting projects more than I like finishing them.![]()
its a verfy bad illness…. I have it too
I love to start projects… its like an orgasm for me

- If you start the project try to finish it before yoiu start another.
- Always organize and name the layers and compositions, put them into folders, name the folders.
- Delete the unused Solids in the Solids folder, do not create multiple black solids or white solids, try to use the same one if needed. You can use them multiple times. Duplicating solids, adjustment layers and null objects makes your project size bigger.
- Cut the compositions ant objects which are hidden and not seen in the animation window, in example if I animate the bird and the bird moves from left side of screen and then leaves at the right side and is still flapping and wiggling but not seen, then the PC still makes calculations and still registers the render information for that bird. so simply move the timeline or slide the finish of the timeline where it actualy finishes and cannot be seen.

my projects are cheaper. They buy, They save on track. I get money. WIN WININDIVIDUAL WIN WIN. Prices get forced down across the board. GROUP LOSE LOSE
I believe prices are too low on Videohive. Over a couple of years, the quality has doubled and the prices, if anything have dropped in nominal terms. Videohive is better value for buyers now than it ever was, but in my heart of hearts, I feel like the prices are really too cheap.
Musicant makes a very good point. If a Videohive project includes an audio track worth $17, but is itself only priced at $20, that sends the signal pretty loud and clear that the video part is only worth $3. Yet other projects cost $20 without music. There, the video part is far more expensive.
If VH reviewers are not making a price distinction between projects that include music and those that don’t, then it gives an unfair competitive advantage to those who are able to bundle music with their projects. I don’t say the price of projects that include music should necessarily rise by $17 – the buyer may want to use another track – but certainly there should be some price differentiation – maybe $5 or so.
If you give everything away for free, your public soon loses the idea that what you do is worth anything at all. What we do here is very definitely worth something.
For the first time, I absolutely dont agree with you
“GROUP LOSE LOSE” – firstly we dont act in selling like a group, we each act as sole author. We compete we offer better projects and we try to be unique and better than each other. Invent something new. We do not act as one single author – we don’t try to increase some one elses sales on purpose. So we are not a group, we are individual sellers in Marketplace with individual techniques and individual talents which we try to use in our items, some makes animation in 3D then prerenders it, some includes model releases, some includes audio track.
“If a Videohive project includes an audio track worth $17, but is itself only priced at $20, that sends the signal pretty loud and clear that the video part is only worth $3” – ok now thats an absurd my friend. Firstly the priority is VH item not the track, what you sell is the video item. So its reversed – fine you can think that the VH item is worth 17$ and the track is very underpriced and is only 3$.
If the music track in your opinion has to be priced and the price added to overall project, then the texture files, vectors, any jpegs, isolated pngs and so on should be priced separately as well ?
Music is an asset. By the way, sometimes I just cant find the right track on AJ, and it’s much faster for me to make one than find one thats fits me. Search system is rubbish in AJ and whole marketplace you can search for days.
Maybe, just Maybe ..the price should be increased to overall products in VH, but music is a non mandatory asset. Sometimes I even think how often that particular included music is actually used with the item. 70% of my items renders found on internet was with other music or sound background.
and… to finish, I have read somewhere in VH or AJ forums that “multitalented authors” (as they named it) are encouraged to include track if they want to. Even if the projects would be priced higher with the track included I would not include the track but I would upload it somewhere else and then provide the download link for the buyer in the help file or item description.
Ok but I agree with the overall market prices, maybe they should be increased. to see a pro level logo for 8 dollars…. that a fu*kin cup of coffee!!!!..... at least make it a hamburger?
Love everyone ;x peace.
