Okay, YT did it’s part, took down the video, got a reply from the person in question basically just saying “ok, got it” meaning he’s aware of the request and will take down the tracks. Now, how much time does it actually take for removal on amazon, itunes, anybody any idea? Again, guys, you’re great, big THANK YOU!
Okay, DMCA’s sent, (c) violation reported, now will see what happens next… Thanks for the support guys!
I’m in touch with Joel, and he’s been a real help, he’s a great guy, I will follow his advice and see where it goes… Thanks Joel!
@Blinn: Thanks for the support mate, the problem is I can’t just let this go because buyers who purchased the track legally might run into trouble with YT, so I need this resolved ASAP, it’s my responsibility towards the legal buyer, you know…
Okay, thanks a lot guys! AlumoAudio, I will do that. It seems they are selling the singed-over version AND my original instrumental version on iTunes, Amazon,...?! What the hell?
I recently got an email from an AJ client that a video of his in which he used my track “Missing You” is blocked due to copyrighted music. He sent me the link to a youtube video on which somebody sings over my original, and apparently they copyrighted it. Does anybody have an advice to what measures should I be taking to resolve this? Should I contact support about it or just write to YT?
p.s.: I messaged the channel where the video is at explaining the situation nicely, but in the case it fails, I’d like some tips where to take the next step. Thanks in advance.

It’s probably that a reviewer needs second opinion or is doing a more thorough analysis.
I believe it’s not a conflict of licenses, it’s exclusivity agreement you could violate by selling the same track on different platform. The point of being exclusive is that a specific track is unique to this marketplace only. Just my thought.
Yes, great finds! There was a similar thread here somewhere if i recall correctly. Anyhow, here’re a couple I found:
“Your Little Planet Corp” by MusicPremium in iPage ad: click
“A Little on the Wild Side” by Tim McMorris: click (found a bunch from Tim actually :))
One of my tracks in a clip for national auto/moto alliance of Serbia: click
