Hi All,
I would like to ask your opinion, regarding a pricing. There is an item which was slightly underpriced [$4] when it has been approved, then i asked the staff via a ticket, to increase the price. They did it well, with accordance. But the funny part of this story is that, i think now it’s turned to opposite. I think the new price [$7] is more than what it should be. Im not talking about what the price should be, because if the general prices would be increased for all authors, all items by a revision, then yes. Probably this would be acceptable for buyers, and me as well. But i think at the moment this price is far more than this. I’m a bit hesitating to ask again to bring the price down a bit. It’s seems like a kind of complaining and ungratefulness. Not, an easy situation…
Any advice?

And i would suggest a kind of limitation regarding the amount of thread. Means, this tab would allow authors to “promote” themselves but i think 1 PR thread/Month should be enough.

Arash, you have to consider that, this is a micro-market. Where people can buy things almost free, and the quality is not every time is on that level. Im not talking about yours or any other specific authors. Many authors here working here as a hobbyist, with amateur knowledge and background. I used the Amateur word in the real meaning and not in pejorative. And buyers are also could be amateurs, (even there are some professional as well). Thats why the prices are generally micro-prices. If you think some of your items are needs few bucks extra thats fine. I also asked Envato to raise some of my item’s prices. Especially when i feel it too low price could be bad for the sales. But do not expect that this market gonna be ever deal with high valued items with high prices. Simply because the main strategy is exactly the opposite here.
