@pixelentity, It would be awesome if you could somehow detect timezones so we can see how many things we sell in in OUR day. I don’t know if it’s possible (or if it’s been covered in this forum post already, sorry if it has) but it’d be great. Envato is 18 hours ahead of me, so I’m constantly seeing how many sales I’m have tomorrow
I’m guessing this post / contest was abandoned =(
I like the clean look, but it looks like every other theme on ThemeForest. I don’t see what sets it apart from the rest.
@two2twelve any news on when you’re pushing a new release out? I loved this app, but it’s been so buggy lately….
Hi all, I’m making a WordPress theme for over at ThemeForest and would like some cool graphics to put on T-Shirt images in the theme demo (just for the demo, I’m not actually printing shirts, haha). If any of you GraphicRiver guys have any cool designs that would look awesome on a T-shirt, I’d appreciate if I could use them. I’ll gladly give you credit on the sale page.
You can shoot them to jake at designcrumbs dot com. Thanks guys!
I just remembered about this competition! Who won?!
Oh lol, sorry I just re-read your original wording – I didn’t realize you were pimping yourself. But don’t you worry, I’ve been quietly working. I’m going to finish about 5 themes before I start posting them. It’ll be raining themes all over Theme Blvd in no time
Well I’m not pimping myself…. yet…
This might be a ‘vacation project’ around the holidays
I recently did this and it took forever. After my experience I would try to avoid this scenario at all costs and start with the HTML version first if you plan to release both. As far as services available, there may be someone you can pay but as far as tools that simply make pretty code I looked and couldn’t find anything that was worth using.
That’s why I thought I’d bring it up. There aren’t any tools to help. You have to get in there and do it yourself… There are tons of places that do Photoshop to WP or HTML to WP, but not the opposite direction.
I’m just completely scrapping HTML themes. In all the time spent supporting and making documentation, marketing materials, etc for the HTML themes, I can be making more WP themes. For fun, you should check out posting on a site like Elance. I used to use this service for some other stuff, and it’s really more reliable than you might think. It’s kind of like ebay, where every freelancer can get ruined by any one or two bad reviews by clients. So, you know you won’t get screwed over. I bet you could get someone to make the HTML theme really cheap, but would you want to risk your rep posting something you didn’t make on TF? Depends I guess.
Well I was thinking the other way around, doing it for TF authors, rather than having people do it for me. If it was worth my time and cheap enough for you to use it, knowing that a fellow TF author is doing it, it might be a win/win.
BTW , where the Hell have you been?
