I bought ASUS X550CC-XX399 i7-3537U 2.0GHz (dual core), 8GB of RAM (it’s maximum) nVidia GeForce GT 720M 15.6’’ LED 1366×768 4 cell battery, 2.4kg
And I’m pretty happy with it. Display isn’t really great, but I’m using my monitor when working so it’s okay. Performances are great, but the spacebar is quite f*cked up, I’ll need to take care of that.
Thank you everyone for helping! Hope the next one will be macbook
I’m buying tomorrow but I can’t decide between these two:
Laptop Fujitsu Lifebook AH552/SL GL Intel Core i7-3612QM 2.1GHz (quad core), 8GB RAM (up to 16GB), Intel® HD 4000, 15.6’’ LED backlight WXGA 1366×768 (Glossy), 6 cell battery, 2.2kg
ASUS X550CC-XX399 i7-3537U 2.0GHz (dual core), 8GB of RAM (it’s maximum) nVidia GeForce GT 720M 15.6’’ LED 1366×768 4 cell battery, 2.4kg
Is fujitsu good? I had read some reviews and no one hates them too much.
Please help me decide between these two
I finally found something I would like to buy, but it’s out of stock in the whole country, damn.
What about these 2? Asus X550VC-XX039H Win8 15.6” 1336×768 ,Intel Core i5-3230M/6GB RAM/1TB HDD/nVidia GT720M 2GB/BT/GLAN/HDMI Price: 570€
and Asus N56VV-S3015 15.6” 1336×768, IntelCQ i5-3230M/8GB DDR3/750GB/GT 750M 2GB/BT 4.0+WiDi/ Price: 730€
Does the second one is worth 160€ more for better gpu and upgradable ram to 16GB?
Also, what about HP ProBook 450 or 470?
You can buy a refurbished MacBook Air on Apple’s site for around $850. Why not save a few more months and buy what you really want?
I don’t understand people that buy cheap computers. They only end up hating it and tossing it in the garbage two years later. Then they’re out of $600.In the long run, they’re only wasting money, and time.
I don’t understand how you expect that everyone has enough money for that overpriced products? I can’t wait few more months because I need it next week. And I prefer hating it for lower quality then poor performance which I can get for 850$ Mac product. I know that they are good, and when I had a chance I’ll buy one definitely, but I’m just student and today is not that day. Thank you.
So ASUS is my choice now, just to decide which one
Also I would go for a higher resolution (1366×768 it’s small). Like this one: http://www.amazon.com/N56VJ-DH71-15-6-Inch-Full-HD-1080P-Laptop/dp/B009M2X8OW/ref=sr_1_8?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1378669819&sr=1-8&keywords=asus+notebook
Well, the size and weight isn’t a big deal for me. That one is perfect, but it’s out of my budget for around 200€. Cheapest I can find is 880€ in my country. Damn, I hate when I can’t decide
So let the ASUS be my choice then.
Asus K75VJ-TY037D Intel® Core™ i5-3210M 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR3 1600MHz, 750GB SATA 7200rpm, NVIDIA GeForce GT 635M(N13P-GLR) 2GB, 17.3” LED-backlit TFT LCD Display resolution: HD+ 1600×900 / 16:9 Display type: (Typical 200-nit) 16ms response time NTSC:45%, Glare 690€
Asus K55VJ-SX171D Intel i7-3630QM 2.4GHz, 6GB DDR3 , 1TB, NVIDIA GeForce GT 635M(N13P-GLR) 2GB, 15.6” LED BackLight glare 1366×768, 640€
I cant found information about if RAM is upgradable up to 16GB? What’s the best deal?
You are my last hope to help me decide what to buy. I’m going in a few days to college, and I need to buy a laptop. I’m on the budget so I can’t afford Mac or something like that. My budget is around 600-700€. I’m doing graphic design, mostly in Photoshop and sometimes in Illustrator. I usually do web and UI design. I would like something to run that smoothly. I prefer a laptop because I currently have a desktop and I’m really distracted a lot when working. Also, I would like nice resolution, at least 1600×900. In the worst case I’ll bring my monitor.
Also, I made some list but I can’t decide. To go for the better processor or better gpu?
