Only one MBP has a dedicated video card now – and it’s a Retina model, which is quite expensive (but totally worth it, I love mine).
I just saw that they almost completely removed standard MBPs from their lineup (they’re offering just the 13” regular MBP, the rest are all Retina). Good riddance, legacy hardware
Of course, if you hurry and are in luck, you will still find some of the earlier models on sale, at retailers
I’m finding (mt) to be rather slow, especially database calls, so I can’t recommend it. Have not used WP Engine.
For caching, do look into using Cloudflare – very satisfied with their service.
Speaking from a support point of view (since that’s what I do), I can say that providing the best support you can, will help with ratings, and here’s how:
What I always do after I solve a customer’s issue, is that I kindly ask them to take a moment and rate the product. Many people forget about ratings, some don’t even know they exist – this is your opportunity to remind them.
Point is, no matter how hard you work and how good you think you’re doing, it’s very important that you actually ask for feedback
Looks and works great, nice job man
One suggestion from my side: the theme switching isn’t very obvious by default (where you have the theme name and type – i.e. WP). Maybe a little arrow or something similar to what the marketplaces have next to the logo, would help make it more obvious by default?
It probably is a good intention, yes
But here’s the thing: there are literally thousands of (affiliate) sites that show you a direct preview and have lots of other browsing functionality. Some even allow you to filter by various criteria.
I’ve done this myself, with much more than just showing a preview directly (and that’s why I was curious about what you’re bringing new to the table): http://extras.envato.com/services/envato-authors-wall/
As others have said, this isn’t the best place to advertise it. Build something useful, then submit it to Envato Extras, for example. It’s a starting point, good luck with your project
I’ve done some stuff with the Marketplace API too in the past, so I’m curious – what parts of the product browsing and discovery from the marketplaces, does your tool improve?
There could be a few reasons : author removed it or Envato removed it. Or maybe it’s been temporarily disabled, and will be added back once the author takes the necessary steps.
Yeap, on XBOX, but it’s still on its way.
Are we creating a TF crew when GTA Online comes out, or what?
