IE 8 usage is still quite high and accounted for 10.7% of overall browser usage in December, 2011 according to http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_explorer.asp. So it is better to make sure your theme supports it.

Thanks for suggestions Ollie.
Hi,
I have recently created a theme for wordpress and tried to upload it to themeforest. The site reviewer said that it is not unique and needs improvements in term of design, visual hierarchy, typography, layout and its aesthetic quality but most importantly, its uniqueness and how the design is executed.
I have slightly improved the typography since then, but need a suggestion or comment regarding the other issues.
Could you please have a look and say what you think of this theme.

Everything looks fine in my chrome, however that grid background in the footer disturbs while reading, easpecially when reading the column two (where the font is darker then in the rest of the columns). The grid in the header looks fine.
Maybe, the margins in the blog posts list (those between the titles and the descriptions of the posts) can be smaller (just a thought)...

Hi jadove. I have recently created a cms/blog for sale on codecanyon. Its is still in testing mode. But will be released in few days.
There are 3 types of users: 1. Superuser – with username “admin” can do anything 2. Admininstrative user, who can do almost anything 3. Author, who has access to only create posts.
Levels 1 and 2 can make their post/page only editable by them by setting checkbox when creating a page/post.
You can have a look here: front
This is the post explaining the cms/blog: http://dime3studio.com/preview/easy-blog2/p/34
If you want to only allow user to edit or add his/her own posts, just grant that user an access of “author”. And, authors can’t do anything else then creating and editing their own posts
