Thanks everyone. And Gbiasillo, I totally understand. My auto correct is crazy. And btw, is there an easier way to view the forums with an app instead of Web browser from the phone? I couldn’t find anything that worked for android.
But anyway, I guess I’ll try and rework the original one. You’re sure the darkness of it is not throwing off my light, happy and acoustic portfolio? I would like the text to be easier read though for sure so I think I will do 3 lines and try Don Roberts Music. That will work well since that’s my dot com anyway. Makes sense. I’ll post it up here when I work it out for a few more opinions. Thanks again!
Oh hahaha. That makes way more sense. I was actually imagining curvey sine waves.
And yeah I tried doing stacked text but my wife liked the one line better haha. I never messed with it any more after that. But it was also on that version B logo that I tried it on.
Thanks guys. Maybe I will just stick with the look of the old. What do you mean by “sine spaces between words”?
I really would like to add color to my icon but I feel like the black, white, and grey just work with that layout.
Also maybe a name change to donrobertsmusic is in order.. Although that has just as many letters trying to be crammed in that one line haha
I really want to change my icon and have made a couple to A/B but I would really like some outside opinions. When I first joined AudioJungle I wanted to make epic orchestral type trailer music.. Apparently my niche is more along the lines of acoustic guitar driven tracks ha. So I want to make an icon reflecting that.
Or do you think I’m better off just leaving it how it is? Dark haha,
Thanks for everyone’s opinion! They really do help!
Thanks everyone! We had a ton of fun making it. It’s awesome to get such a great response.
Just worked my way through Loom again and am now playing the Dig (both some of the best games made IMO).
Yeah! Loom! What an awesome old lucasarts (right?) game. I haven’t played Loom in forever but I still have parts of it engraved in my mind. I’ve never played dig but I may have to look into it.
I get the bulk of my inspiration by listening to music. Just spend some time listening to different music on audiojungle. Theres lots of good material here for inspiration.
