ilovemedia-es saidThe original post says the change will happen within 2 weeks. Is this implemented already and live now?
doru saidExactly. I think it’s just the opposite. If there is no reference to the review time, our only way to get a rough idea will be asking in the forums “What is lenght review queue now?”
here we go. http://videohive.net/forums/thread/how-long-it-takes-to-process-a-template-in-videohive/138965 “no threads about how long the review process takes” they say “the forum will be clean now” they say
shhh I’m trying to prove something here
post a screenshot to see what the issue is
If someone is ok to help me, i can send him a picture to see exactly the text of the title he must put in place of the original. Of course, i will send him (for free of charge) a link to download all the file necessary for the project with the tutorial.
I don’t understand. Are you trying to pay for this by providing the item source file for free?
Anyway, if you a budget you can contact me from my profile page here http://videohive.net/user/doru I may be able to help
greenline saidthat would be cool. Besides the purchase button, a button with “Not sure which license to pick?” that brings you to some basic questions of how the item will be used.
Maybe in the future would be better to use an expert system, a simple step-by-step shopping assistance guide using questions (where each question depends on the previous answer) to assist in which license to buy.
no other buttons should be near the purchase button. Once someone decided to purchase you need to let him do it. If you introduce an element of doubt (a button that creates confusion) they may chose to not purchase after all.
Especially if your button say “Not sure which license to pick?” This implies that the buyer don’t know something. No one likes to be told they don’t know a certain thing.
Even if they really don’t know and even if they are perfectly aware about this, people still get upset when is implied that they don’t know something. Yes, even if they are the only one to see the message.
You put that button near the Purchase button and you got troubles
this is awesome
bravo Muhammad Haris
and bravo for the team who created this series!!!

A while (and not that long) ago – and I believe Doru remembers that moment – we were asking about all things we really miss and finally, instead of some action from the Envato HQ or devs, we got “answer” that we should stop spreading the negative energy on forums by always complaining. We ended up being the bad guys…
yes, remember this, an unfortunate series of events since in my case (but I’m sure this apply to other authors) I had no intention in disturbing the marketplace or complaining. I’ve acted a bit of criticisms, since this was actually asked by staff.
But maybe is me who have no real experience with corporate speak, or they believed we will understand something else.
I mean if I work for envato, and I would know some internal movements, who proposed that, who asked for this, and Collis would come up and say:
“Hey Doru, what do you think about this and that?”
I may be careful in criticizing some idea that was already implemented and was proposed by someone who may not tolerate certain criticisms.
For a employ if a certain author doesn’t sell, it change nothing, as long the company revenue is ok he get his paycheck. Why getting himself in dark waters?
But I’m not working in the company and you want my opinion then I will be sincere about it. I don’t care about personal feelings at this point, I don’t even know this internal back story that come up with every decision that is taken and even if would had known, it make no difference.
I need to be sincere about it because it affects me directly. Off course if the critiques are misunderstood, then what to do?
I swear, this is last time I create a thread about sales
doru saidTotally hear you, Doru, but unfortunately, I don’t think we can change when we were “born”.
scottwills saidmove the celebration to the end of September, start of October, because now we sell nothing and 70% week would not be at full potential
artbreeze saidHa, ha, nope, I think someone has jumped the gun a little bit but very thoughtful all the same, thanks for the well wishes! Our birthday is in August, and we’ll definitely be celebrating in style, but later this month.
Is there any post related to this? any 70% week?
it was worth a try
