Check your demo site, it doesn’t work at all for me.

ROFL – this guy is hilarious.

Google Wesley Snipes, he is currently in jail for murder. Oh no wait, it’s for not paying his taxes.

LOL @ dnp_theme

Unless you’re just trolling, you’re in for one hell of a shock when they realise you haven’t paid any taxes on your earnings.

Also, claiming ignorance will not be an acceptable excuse when you inevitably get your balls busted.

Probably, yes. But the high-flying authors provide both in their themes, they aren’t mutually exclusive.

A lot of work needs to go into the aesthetics of your theme, it’s extremely basic in appearance (and therefore won’t sell even if it’s approved). Have a look over the best selling templates of the past year or so here and you should be able to identify what’s missing from yours.

Good luck!

It’s all usability and functionality but no aesthetics or atmosphere.

Think about what you’ve just said though. Unfortunately, to create a successful site, it’s not about painting a masterpiece, it’s about making it accessible to the general public, taking into account the lowest common denominator (e.g. the elderly).

Whilst I love a beautifully designed website, the above should quite rightfully be considered the priority.

Yes, But what if this thing goes past Monday? Envato hasn’t made any of us aware of what’s going on. I’ve been waiting nearly 3 days for my payment and there is absolutely no signs of it anywhere. This is becoming a very pressing issue, Given I know some of us use this money to pay our bills and feed our families. It’s weird having to create ways to do this when you work hard and receive no money for it. Not only, But this is so stressful and is taking away from my work and production given how stressed out I am about this subject. I just hope Envato doesn’t wait nearly 4 days to answer my question and fix the issue. It’s more then urgent at this point.

Feeding your family via the ‘potential’ sales of your 4 themes (added over 1 1/2 years) seems like a very dodgy way to try and survive.

If not receiving some passive income for 3 days is crippling your family, you should get an actual job or develop a lot more themes than you’re currently surviving on.

You’re presuming to know where he stays and how his income can stretch for him. He did make over $100k, that’s a fortune in some countries.

That just provides a stronger argument. If he’s made over $100k, how is he struggling to feed his family?

And if he is? Then he shouldn’t be 100% reliant upon an inconsistent/unknowable income.

Relying on 4 themes to pay the bills and feed your family is very dubious.

“We’ve got about one million plus feature requests at the moment, but myself and the community team will keep an eye on this thread and take down any new notes or suggestions that arise”

The problem with this broad statement from envato is, despite there being ‘one million plus feature requests’, I haven’t seen anything significant change on themeforest for literally years. There are so many small issues that are really important to the regular authors/buyers, but none of them ever seem to be acted upon.

The rating system is very weak, the site search function is utterly useless, the quality standards are not being tightened up, etc.

Saying these things are in the pipeline simply doesn’t wash after the first year or two…
