Maybe I’m being an idiot, but the search function on this network of site’s is AWFUL !
There used to be an option of searching based on theme name, author, etc. Now I can’t search for anything other than a pre-known theme name.
Example, I want to have a quick look at Orman Clark’s themes. So unless I know the name of the theme I want to search for, I have to find the ‘top authors’ area and look for him manually?
And what would I do if the author I was searching for wasn’t a top author?
It can’t be hard to implement something more effective; this has irritated me on many occasions…
Interesting and honest post. I’m also a very regular buyer here and I find the theme quality is generally excellent. However, there are a few stinkers out there.
It’ll be really interesting to see the feedback from up top here.
Edit: My biggest issue here is actually the number of really dull/repetitive themes that are getting released on here. I’d rather see less and of a much higher quality. Hopefully this would iron out your issue too.
Agusmu’s nailed it, thread over.
WOW , I was certain I’d uploaded it and double-checked it!
Thanks so much, it’s working perfectly now!
Pixelous – I think I’ve done what you’ve suggested, and I’ve organised the <head> better, however still no joy ;(. Have I done it correctly?
Any experts out there?
I’ve built up our corporate site over the years to include new functionalities, however unfortunately this is now resulting in jQuery conflicts when I try to add new plugins. I recently bought a codecanyon news feed plugin, however it uses jQuery 1.6.2, which conflicts with other versions already on the page. If I try to upscale them all to 1.6.2, most of the them break.
I’ve looked up the jQuery noconflict scripts, but it’s just beyond my skill level to figure out the correct way of implementing it.
Can anyone advise what I can do to get the news feed working on this page?http://www.computersinpersonnelhr.com/index2.html
Any help is much appreciated!
Well deserved – i bought the grand college theme and it has been a DELIGHT to work with!
