What is everyone else typing?
I can help you with this in great detail. Please contact me through my profile page. Thanks!
Is there a way in AS3 to give a dynamically created text field a dynamic name? For example, in AS2 I could name things like this: _root.myText[myVar] ...but I can’t seem to do this in AS3 . I need to reference the text field by the value of myVar… Also, if anyone knows how I can use bold and italic tags in the text, that would be cool too! .htmlText doesn’t seem to do the trick. Thanks!
var myFont = new Font1();
var myFormat:TextFormat = new TextFormat();
myFormat.size = 19;
myFormat.leading = 3;
myFormat.align = TextFormatAlign.LEFT;
myFormat.font = myFont.fontName;
var myText:TextField = new TextField();
myText.defaultTextFormat = myFormat;
myText.embedFonts = true;
myText.antiAliasType = AntiAliasType.ADVANCED;
myText.htmlText = “This is the text.”;
myText.border = false;
myText.wordWrap = true;
myText.selectable = false;
myText.width = 520;
myText.height = 60;
Thanks! Looks like I just really need to scan all of WP Codec.
About the photos, how can I know for sure where to get quality photos for the site template demo without freaking out about the license/copyright? I looked everywhere but I keep finding incomplete information.
@ZERGE… Dude, THANK YOU ! YOU RULE ! I looked for this, but could not find!
@Graphitizer… thanks for the width! Also, been reading over WP Codec every time I get a chance.
Also, should I create the “standard” HTML pages (Home, About, Contact, etc.) outside the Blog, or use the Blog to create those pages so they can be more easily managed by the customers? Or should I just do whatever I want? LOL .
What about photos? Someone on here said Flickr allows certain pics to be used for the demo, is that only if I list the credits?
Cool, thanks. What is the max width I can go on an HTML page? Usually I go 1000 pixels wide, but can I go 1200 pixels wide? I’m not referring to pages that stretch to 100%.
