No standout teams…...which makes it very interesting.

I’d like to see a team who has never won it before triumph this time around.

Cannot bring myself to root for Holland because of Van Persie who I cannot abide….arrogant chap…..and that serial diver/cheater Robben.

I’d love to see Argentina win again because I have always loved Maradona…...Messi will never outdo him no matter if he wins this time around…..he has not came close to Maradonas perfomances so far although he has scored 4…...Maradona never ever lost the ball and was a far better passer/dribbler.

Would love to see Columbia win it!

I see a lot of great Shopping Themes but without a working cart. http://demo.bulktheme.com/nshoes-html/green/index.html That one for example.

What are the options for attaching working carts to these?? I’d just like a list if possible?

I have not done many Shopping websites and used Opencart before.

Are people buying off the shelf sliders…..not the main ones like Revolution etc but the thumbnail scrollers and the Clients thumb scrollers that you see on most themes.

If so where do people buy them…I do not see them on codecanyon?

Guys…..strikes me that I have never seen an option for clicking a link and being able to update a photo on a page like a Facebook Cover when you can uplaod and resize it to fit a predefined size so as not to break the design..

I don’t think any script/Tutorial exists on how to build something like that?

I hate those CMS systems where you plong the photo alongside the text like a bad word document.

Thanks for that Garth.

I tried contacting you through your profile but no link to an email?

If you could contact me through my profile I will reply.

Taking this great theme as an example….how would you go about integrating it with Paypal. If you could even point me to the right paypal help page that would be great.

I dissagree.

Someone who doesn’t have the skills to put features into Web Design like you have in your template certainly isn’t going to have the skills to turn the Shop part into a fully functioning Shopping Cart.

They will have to increase their spend and buy Magento/Opencart/Prestashop themes.

My point is the Shopping Pages of your Themes will never be used 90% of the time. That is a pity.

pixedelic is correct, the themes are predominately aimed at developers who either can’t / won’t design. I buy themes from here and then code them into another cms/ecommerce system, it saves me time and energy designing from scratch.

There are too many options to go through for someone to create a tutorial to add paypal functionality to a theme, such as location, type of payment etc

As you’re based in the jolly green land, I am happy to email / speak with you later to discuss the above and show you how to get started.

I have done this hundreds of times and it’s not difficult, it’s just time consuming and there are so many options which limits what a theme author can add to the template.

I see themes like this all the time with grat Shopping Cart Pages: http://themeforest.net/item/g-multipurpose-responsive-html5-template/5733218 http://themeforest.net/item/precise-multipurpose-responsive-template/4704032

How would you go about using it with Paypal for instance?

I think either there should be a Tutorial authors can attach to the instructions with files like these or you work that out yourselves and charge more.

Shopping pages in templates are a waste of time to most people otherwise.

People use templates because they cannot program things like that in the first place.

guys I have been having problems with a few templates from Themeforest.

When I am working on them I go to other windows and when I go back to DW it locks up for 10-15 seconds.

At first I thought it might be these sits accessing the database on my hosting server for testing, so I deleted the database connections and it still happened and it only happens on the themes.

Anyone else had this…obviously there is something conflicting to slow things down and it makes it frustrating to work on these websites using the themes.

EDIT. Never mind…basic schoolboy error…wrong DOCTYPE at top of page. Sorry.

Thanks a lot guys for the response.

Having held out on using Wordpress for a long number of years I have to say I feel vidicated now haven tried it for the past few days.

It doesn’t work the way I thought it would. I am used to opening theme pages…adjusting their content and adding my own.

I win’t be using the 2 Wordpress themes I bought.
