It is a great template and I want to use it for my website and I have already contacted the author on this but need an answer quickly.
It has a full width banner but will only center on a page refresh. I don’t like that and want it to center like the abc.com slider whenever the width of the page is adjusted.
From looking this up on google it seems tricky to do.
I have searched for this solution on google without success, maybe someone can help me as it involves the gallery I bought from you.
Bought a Gallery on CC and it already has a database so people can upload photos through the backend. I want to use that database (or specific table with images) to show dynamic images throughout the website I designed on other pages.
It is a website with products.
Tthis is the code I used to test a dynamic image from the gallery database on another .php page:
images/<?php echo $row_Recordset1[‘ImageName’]; ?>
The database has just the filenames with no path to each image file. I think that this is a much better way instead of putting a path into the database such as images/photo1 or typing images/ before every dynamic image I want to use.
What code would I need to insert on a page to point to the images folder so I didn’t have to insert images/ into the code for every dynamic image?
......iPads changed the way we do designingv websites.
Steve Jobs never really answered why.
I noticed a lot of new files are not having the traction they once had way back when I started buying stuff here a few years ago.
I too figure if I am going to have to design websites then they need to work on iPads so I go for non flash items.
jQuery is fantastic…..because iPad needs to be catered for, I have decided to try and replace my falsh banners etc with jQuery items on my websites.
I notice that newer items on activeden are not selling as much as used to be the case…...maybe codecanyon is seeing more sales because of the switch.
To ignore iPad when designing is a huge mistake nowadays.
I notice that a lot of my favourite website designs (abc.com, nbc.com, cbs.com. wwe.com) have all chose to move away from Flash banners on their home pages.
I think it is sad iPads are making them move away from flash.
Ok guys I have a big problem.
I am designing a Quiz (with a different software program that isn’t Flash).
I want to get the Questions/Answers from an Access Database.
The final project is then exported as an .exe file. The program doesn’t include the Access file in the .exe file but puts it in the same folder beside it.
Here lies the problem.
How would I protect somebody accessing the Access database file and yet let it still be read by the program. A File lock security program won’t work.
The program also allows for a MySQL database to be used and the passwords to be held within the .exe file. However this would mean everyone I sell the game to would need MySQL on their computer so that is a non starter.
It has to be the Access Database route.
I seen a security program a few years ago where software programs are plased in a Viewer which shows the software but nobody can access…..it acts like a kind of wrapper.
I never saved that link but if I could find a similar one that gave a fullscreen version where it isn’t apparent to anyone viewing the Quiz then that would be ideal.
Does anyone have any ideas?
I bought this file and it is brilliant….best banner on AD.
I have asked this on the authors file but think it may get a quicker response here.
Have seen them on may other files and websites.
Thanks in advance.
