Have you checked our Jupither theme?
We’ve filled out the form a couple of weeks ago too and wondering when the campaign will be started. Is there anyone who had their campaign run? How did it effect their sales?
We are looking for a Wordpress developer for partnership. Since we cannot find the time to develop Wordpress themes, we are only considering releasing HTML templates from now on. And we are looking for an experienced developer to collaborate, who will convert these templates into Wordpress themes. First project we have in mind is our latest site template Glisseo. If everything goes well, we would like to continue with the same developer for the upcoming templates.
Anyone interested please send us an email for discussing the details. We are only looking for authors who already has Wordpress themes on sale here.
Best regards, elemis
Same as March which sucked as well.
The thing is it takes around 5-7 days for 30 new WordPress themes to be approved, which is 3 times faster then few months ago. There’s no time to make sales.I hope it won’t get even faster, that would be seriously bad for business.
I agree that the prices need to be reviewed and increased.
Not only has the quality of the themes gone waaaaay up meaning authors are putting more time into their work, but the cost of living has gone up also. Because of inflation (different for each country/currency) this means that year on year, the amount our earnings is worth has actual gone down by several % per year.
- So the standards have gone up (increasing the value for the buyer)
- The prices have stayed the same (decreasing the value for the author)
- Inflation means our earnings don’t stretch as far as the previous year.
Not good, not good at all. Envato has probably the best theme portfolio of any online marketplace, so the buyers will still come. They also understand that each year everything must rise its price to at least keep pace with inflation. Heck they have probably already raised their freelance rates for this same reason. So there is only one loser in this situation and guess what, it’s the Authors. Hurrrrray!DOK
Thanks for all the responses. We found someone to work with us on our next project.
However we are still looking for someone who is good with jQuery and Wordpress that would help us fix bugs and add new features to the existing scripts. It won’t be a regular job. Some months it may require 20 hours of your time, some months none. Anyone who is interested please contact us via the form on our profile page.
