another method i think of is using the jquery detach() function.
For example something like this to remove the iframe from the DOM :
if you can give your sfw holder an id or class i think it would be much easier for you to use this function .
more details about detach can be found here :
Another idea is to use remove() and clone()
something like this:var sfw = $(’#YourSfwContainer’).clone(true); $(’#YourSfwContainer’).remove(); $(’#selector’).html(sfw);
Thank you so much for your help
We have a jQuery Cycle plugin related question.
We would like to make the videos stop playing after moving to another slide. While viewing the page with Firefox the video stops after switching slides but on other browsers like Chrome, Safari, Opera it doesn’t.
Here’s an example: http://themes.iki-bir.com/meegofurn/blue1.html (Video is in the 3rd slide)
Does anyone have an idea how we can make this possible for other browsers as well?
Thanks in advance.
We are looking for a web developer that has high level knowledge on jQuery and Wordpress to work with us on project based jobs (for our themes). If you are interested please send us an email including some of your works.
Apparently on my new theme, the footer sticks to the middle of the page when the user scrolls down. I found a fix online but I have no way to test it since I don’t have an iphone or ipad. Could somebody take a look for me?
Sorry but the footer still sticks to the middle of the page. We are looking for a solution to fix this issue for a long time but no luck. Fixed elements don’t work in iPads and iPhones ;(
For instance take a look at the [removed] theme in IE9 : [link removed] Everything it’s broken: menu, teaser, titles in the footer and so on…
Actually, nothing is broken. Only Cufon is not working. We had the same issue and after we have updated Cufon, it started working on IE9 as well.
