Great portfolio. You have a lot to be proud of..and only 28 items on the river! very impressive
You can always rework graphic river’s logo license to be an an exclusive version. At the least it gives you a good outline of points to cover in the one you write. To make the client more comfortable, I usually put the line “All exclusive rights transferred upon final payment” on my invoices.
I read the regular + extended licensing info recently, and I would say that yes, it’s totally ok for your buyer to distribute the edited issue for free. As long as s/he’s not selling their edited end product, or your work as his/her own (which would require an extended license if you offer that to your buyers).
Point 5 of the regular license states: 5.You can make any number of copies of the single End Product, as long as the End Product is distributed for Free.
Hope this helps!
haha, thanks guys. Organized mess – but I know where everything is
well, this is embarrassing.
Dang it! online image hosting sites, arg. Thanks, Coriiander. Self hosting this baby.
I actually have 2 craft flyers on the second page of my portfolio (not allowed to post the link in the forum), both priced at $6. Happy to discuss customization of one of those templates if you might need that as well
Envato notes actually just published a pretty good post on this exact topic: http://notes.envato.com/authors/11-ways-to-become-a-successful-author/
