2nd day so far with no sales cept for my latest project… but we all have our ups and downs so I guess its to be expected.
Yeah, a little slow here too for the start of the week. Had my best week ever last week which was really nice. I’m sure sales will bounce back up as usual at some point.
My Troy Built snowblower. Snows so much here. Best thing I’ve bought in a long time!
You are on PC correct? Can you turn off your firewall and see if you can download?
My last project got approved in 5 days … it was faster comparing to 7 days … anybody else experiencing the same ? ... I hope good times will be back !
My last Videohive project approval was 2 weeks ago and it took 7 days (this included the weekend, I uploaded on Monday and got approved the following Monday).
My 3d Ocean project I uploaded last week was approved in 3 days.
I’m using Chrome too Real and it works fine.
You try to reinstall Chrome yet?
Yup, free downloads working here too.
Better than average sales for the week here. Hope it stays steady.
If it was soft rejected, it should in the ‘hidden items’ tab in your dashboard. You should be able to reupload through there.
I understand man. I also want to see a shopping cart and better search filters and resources going into those things. They are very important. I guess I don’t understand why the opposition in splitting the markets up. Does Stock Video need to be in the same category as AE Templates to survive? I don’t understand the issue with splitting it up. I’m in no way devaluing stock footage at all. I just personally think both deserve their own market to clean things up.
Stock Footage is in some way related to Templates because they both have to do with video in some way but they are their own entities. They should have their own dedicated marketplace.
Why not then combine Code Canyon and Themeforest? They both are related in some way are they not. Of course that won’t happn because they both have a strong presence of their own, just like templates and stock footage.
Anyway, I’ve already hijacked this thread enough already, I don’t want to keep doing that.
I think it’s great to share our opinions. Cheers
@facade “This would help a bit with exposure so people looking for templates don’t have to dig through stock footage and vice versa.”
I don’t understand this fear template authors feel that motion graphics and stock footage might be “bloating” videohive and reduce exposure of AE templates…It’s a strange choice of words, “dig through”... If you know you need a template, when you enter the main videohive page you have right in your face links to each category, which means a single click of the mouse button takes you DIRECTLY to a page showing the most recent AfterEffects templates, complete with clear price and attributes. One click! Where exactly do you have to dig through?
Sightsignal, I just meant that both Templates and Stock Footage deserve their own markets.
Look at Photodune. Imagine Stock Footage having it’s own thing like Photodune. You click on the Photodune homepage and things are organized neatly by category (sports, health, ..etc) right off the bat.
If you click on Videohive home page right now you will see (AE templates, stock footage, motion graphics, etc..). Just looks messy, another set of things to dig through which I think would better if each had their own market.
If I want an image of a static football player, i don’t go to Graphic River for it. Similarly, I should be able to go to an AE Template Market only to search for a template where catagories are organized specifically for templates right off the bat.
Same thing goes for a dedicated Stock footage market.
