From the BS website on affix:

Scrolling past the element you want affixed should trigger the actual affixing. This is where .affix replaces .affix-top and sets position: fixed; (provided by Bootstrap’s CSS).

Look at my html demo or http://jsfiddle.net/skelly/df8tb/

Look at the nav class as you scroll it changes, on my theme it doesn’t which is making me point at something wrong with the JS

I have done everything from replacing all the BS files, attaching the affix.js file (even though it’s not needed) to adding my own affix code (using jQuery scroll) and even using google’s jQuery.

I am confused why this won’t work, only thing I can think of is some WP JS script is playing havoc with mine.

Has anyone else had this issue and can point me in the direction to fix this? It’s so frustrating

I have converted a theme to WP and 99.99% done apart from one thing, the affix class in the menu won’t work e.g. when you scroll down the page the menu won’t stick

I have a menu which I have assigned the affix class using the JS and the data-spy methods but it doesn’t work, there are no JS errors in my console (firefox or chrome) and the js and css of BS are at 3.3.1, the files are all enqueued and everything else works fine.

I have deactivated all the plugins (although none use BS), I have deleted all the other scripts I enqueued

The URL is http://wpthemes4u.co.uk/demo/wordpress/conceito/

It works fine on the html version at http://acrocapoeira.com/conceito/

Navigation HTML:
<nav class="navbar navbar-inverse navbar-static-top" id="nav" rol="navigation">
My Affix JS is:
jQuery('#nav').affix({
  offset: {
   top: 580
  }
 });

Anyone able to point me in a direction to find the cause?

I do believe the Envato Blogs are WordPress ran but the marketplaces are far more involved so use a custom developed script built on Ruby on Rails (from what the devs have said).

The marketplaces have custom requirements and it’s normally much simpler to custom code a script than to try and customise a pre-built script.

Hey Guys!

I converted a PSD for a friend to HTML , and then submitted to TF but it was rejected as the design standards don’t meet the Themeforest standards.

Could I get some feedback on what I can change, I know the contact page definitely needs updating as it totally sucks. So any feedback that doesn’t include the contact page.

The site is here

TIA

Regards

I am need of a UK based designer for 2 things.

1) Selling designs etc on here

2) Work for my clients ( as i’m not a designer).

I need them to be UK based for ease of contact, and for easier payments.

For any client work we would arrange the price etc before we start etc.

For work sold on here, would follow the payments below.

PSD = 100% to designer html or other coding = 60% me, 40% designer.

I can knock a PSD into html / css 2-3 days, w3c validated (strict) etc.

Anyone interested gimme a shout

I am in the South West UK and interested in your offer to work for your clients.

As for the “PSD = 100% to designer html or other coding = 60% me, 40% designer.”, I don’t understand what you are looking for here; you want us to design/code and then you get some of the money or you want us to design then YOU code?

Check out my work at http://www.robbydesigns.com

Yup, as it states. For selling on Tf you build the psd and keep 100% of the cash if you sell it here, I will code it to wordpress and xhtml (and maybe joomla) and we split the cash 60/40.

For my clients I need a reliable and easy to contact designer. I would need to wok with you before I ask you to work with my clients.

Send me an e-mail and we can chat. I am south-west based too (just north of bristol).
