Build one theme, with 250 demos, that cover all possible categories… this in my humble opinion is defined as a bundle…

If I would ever need to create 250 demos, this probably would take me more time than the development time required to make the theme itself. I personally don’t like to make the demo pages. Sometime I can make 20 different homepages with the same theme, but in the end I make just one, because this process is boring.

And html have builders… whats up with that? That’s not html that’s almost like an CMS system

That’s like a virus.

If we don’t stop this type of theme development now, it will stop us later.

I think it is not allowed anymore;

According the author of plugin there is no official statement from Envato.

Just about every theme with “multiple demos” breaks Envato’s stance on bundling themes in one package. Not only is that devastating for authors (because why buy a single theme for $48 when you can buy 23-in-one for $58), but it’s destroying the market in general – as we’ll all have to transition to this, or fall off the radar. Envato has been slipping up big time (purposely because they’re sales are so high) and now we’re past the point of no-return.

+1 I tried multi-purpose and realized things are not working as I expected so I stopped creating multi-purpose themes. Due to circulation of new items in the market everyday, it’s non-sense spending all that time to create 20+ themes in one. IMO.

Hey, I think it looks nice, one thing i’d say though is you’re over doing the animations a little. I find it was too distracting; I think subtleness is the key ;)

+1 a few simple touch can turn it more elegant look.

Hey,

Slower review process = Better homepage exposure…

So, I’m glad if it’s going slow these days ;)

Cheers,

If you guys want second day reviews you really deserve for Envato to speed up things for a while so you can see the true meaning of staying on the homepage 24 hours or less. It happened to me before and the result was extremely poor. So I guess all I can say is be careful what you wish for.
I’d much rather have my item approved a week earlier than to have an extra day on the homepage. Homepage exposure won’t mean anything if your item stinks, and if it’s good, it’ll continue to sell regardless of it being on the homepage. Meanwhile, you’re missing out on an entire week or so of sales because the review process takes that much longer.

That’s the point. Let’s say after a week of review process you got soft-rejected than fixing requested stuff upload it once again and get in the line for another 4-5 days bcoz no priority for second uploaded items which makes the process longer than it suppose to be. That cause more frustration when looking at the screen and pressing “F5”.

bottomline a shorter review time will gain more advantages for all of us.

Sorry mate I’m not agree with you. Still dozens themes releasing every single day I’m not even able stay there a second day. There has to be some other way to sort things out. I guess we’ll have to wait for Envato to hear us.

Sorry to be such a pain, but it’s been almost a week and we still didn’t get any official response to this thread.

Will something change regarding the review process in the the close future or should we be afraid to take weekends off or go on holidays?

We’re all waiting for your answers. Thank you.
High probably you’re right that review process aren’t working at weekends.
Thats not what he means…. He means that his item could get disabled over a weekend or holiday and hell never know about it because they don’t inform when they do that.
sorry my mistake. my point was different. thank you.

Can we improve how we commuicate and present a soft disabled item? Absolutely! I’ve seen several reasonable requests in this thread on how we could get better at this. The teams really care about this process and feel like we can strike a decent balance. After all, we want to keep your items up and running as much as you do :D

Thanks for your sincere opinion and good judgement Travis. But why does it take so long, it’s years since this robotic behaviour is applied. I swear i can find tens of bugs in every single item here, it’s software there will always be bugs, always.

I’m thinking of two solutions for this:

1) Either send an email to the author. saying that it’s under auto-disable if the bug isn’t fixed within XX hours (12hr is fine).

2) Ok, soft-disable it, but drop the review process or at least make it absolutely priority in review. Add a new author feature to quickly update the item without hours and hours in pending queue.

I know there are more important stuff going on, but this needs to be improved as it’s not benefiting anyone.
