It’s great that envato make some actions about the outdated Revolution Slider. But I think that you guys should be more careful when soft disabling themes. You disabled our theme London Creative +, reason is that it contains a the problematic Revolution Slider plugin. So far so good. The problem is that our theme does not contain Revolution Slider plugin at all! This can happen only if someone wasn’t even able to read the item description. Since the response time on Envato support is measured in weeks, same as the review time, I opened a thread and I demand activation of our template here.

Short answer is no. More info should be somewhere in the TOS. But an author can verify a purchase code manually so if you can get that then you should be good to go to receive support (it’s up to the author discretion though).

Well to be honest it doesn’t happen often to us. But when it happens, it’s still our paying customer and we treat him like a customer, because it’s the guy who votes for us with his wallet. So we are polite and helpful as always and doing our best to solve his problem :-)

Sorry to hear that. You should send a tweet to @envato_support with a ticket ID as well, that might speed it up.

This should be possible once a proper parametric search is implemented, i.e., “Show me files with less than 7 sales”.

makes no sense to talk about this. both co-exists very well since the last 10 years or so.
Making money and Open Source go together? Ummm… not in the digital stock market they don’t

It’s possible actually. Free content creates a market (or audience) that wouldn’t exist otherwise that you can later milk with premium paid content/services and advertising/datamining.

By the way, what was the split initially when Envato started back in the day? I can’t remember now.

edit: googled and found something like 25/75 with 50/50 for veterans. Those were the days lol ;)

I started at win, then go through osx and ended up on ubuntu LOL. Never considered myself as a geek guy, so I never imagined using linux :) Anyway ubuntu is very similar to osx. Of course osx is better and more smooth, but the hardware prices are twice costly as normal. And the killer feature of ubuntu is “spaces” like on osx, but you still can have them in multiple columns and rows:

And thanks to choosing ubuntu I was able to buy a top gaming laptop with dual graphics, so if I rarely play, I can run on best details. And this all still for the half of the price of macbook :)
