I really can’t find the slider you guys are talking about
I think there are problems with the navbar. I am not digging the gradient. A “smoother” one would be better. I would leave the borders for the search button and the borders around the rss button.
Thanks JJenz for the nice comments and the effort, I think adding a bit more padding is better looking!
I think everyone’s comments show one big mistake the reviewers are making. They do not represent everyone’s ideas.
“Doesn’t blend” or “Aesthetically not good” are very vague comments. Like the saying, “love is in the eye of the beholder”, you may not like the header, but someother person may like it.
So, I believe that, if the reviewer commented on padding, margin or more details like you guys did, I wouldn’t be so furious.
@danharper: Sushi-co serves them both
Here are the reasons my reviewer gave me: 1. The header still need some works to improve. The big red banner is too plain. 2. The RSS button, what is that?It doesn’t blend well with the background. 3. The rounded corners and the black edge. Both doesn’t blend well with the site background image. 4. Tabs and sidebar widget header, Both of them need to be improved. 5. In IE, when hover the “older entries” button, the bottom expand. 6. This is a wp 2.7 theme, why it doesn’t support nested comment?
Here are my answers:
1. I can make the most glamourous header ever, but it will load in a lifetime. There is a reason its a 4×168 image repeated x direction 2. Thats a fortune cookie, if you haven’t gone to a japanese restaurant before 3. Not everything has to blend you know. There is something called contrast? 4. Improved how? 5. I can fix that, not something very important. (Considering the amount of updates some do on their accepted themes.) 6. Do you think a 500px body will fit 3 nested comments? I really don’T think so; at least doing so while looking neat.
This reviewer has been giving me some hard time for a while now. I am going to submit my themes again, and I want another reviewer…

If you ask me, this theme has nothing special then any other free theme out there.
Well your website’s main audience is web designers, or at least people related to the Internet in a way.
My Turkish Audi Fan Club – (http://www.turbofsi.net) however has audiences that are very random. Some have safari browsers, some have firefox and some ask me how to upload an image!.
Well, lets say a company has an audience covering all types of people, its important for them to have that %20 coverage.
Displaying a message won’t work for everyone, since those people using IE6 probably do not know how to install another browser
I totally agree, sometimes it drives me mad just to get the theme looking the same in IE6 , but majority of the Internet still uses IE6 . Sad but true
