As far I can see I have received commission!
If they wish to have this model, then you will create invoice for Envato every month and you will charge your profit (70%) + VAT since we have no idea to who we sell our product and we didn’t get any money to our account when product is sold we are selling to Envato.
Gareth_Gillman saidSorry I still don’t understand. If someone is earning over a threashold and is not paying taxes then how is that an Envato problem?
Because in the EU, if you earn over £60k then you have to pay 20% on any earnings after that amount, but if you don’t declare you have earnt over £60k then they can and will backdate it.
In EU you don’t pay VAT to commission, but you pay VAT if you are selling products. So with new system authors who have VAT number will pay 20%+ more taxes. So in the end you will get 70% from Envato, but you will need to pay 20%+ because of new model.
