can you tell me how to actually navigate to that spot from your home page??? i for the life of me cannot find a way to it? (please dont tell me i have to navigate my way through 355 pages to find it! If that is the case, this forum really needs proper nested cataloging…a sore point i have with the wordpress.org forum…which is absolutely useless. Posts disappear into the “endless linear list of help requests” within minutes, never to be seen or heard from again!!!)
On the Product Page, just click the “Support” tab at the top.
tah. i thought one could navigate to it through forums directly.

Hi guys, I am using the Avada theme header layout number 4.
When i enable sticky header, the menu text contains no border or background and layers beneath are visible through the menu text when scrolling.
I cant seem to figure out how to stop this from happening. clcik or, copy and past link below in your browser to see imagehttps://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=4C7CE0F4F914C1B4!4692&authkey=!AFlNNW216u1S5bo&v=3&ithint=photo%2c.png
kind regards adam
Hi guys, I have the avada theme. On the Contact Page…how do i change the default google map that displays in the area above the page? The google map defaults to the following…
775 New York Ave, Brooklyn, Kings, New York 11203
If i create a new map…it displays in the page/post underneath this area…and the original area is simply a blank grey colour?
In any case, for those who will no doubt face a similar issue in the future, i have the answer…and it is a really simple one….
....div id=”header-banner” style=”margin-top: 70px;” img src=”https://googledrive.com/host/....” width=”400” height=”200” /div….
I thought a question on css inline styling inside html5 tags was a general question???
How do you figure that is specific to the avada theme exactly??
Hi guys, i have been playing around with this for hours and am not really getting it to work without cheating (create the image already centred in its own background first then importing into theme Tagline)
Before i go on…i am unable to use the actual <> in the code because it damnwell executes so you will just have to accept that i have used <> in the right places. (please dump this feature)
1. First i add the image (this works no problem
However because the Logo on the left in the avada theme is approx 250×250 square, Tagline text is no longer centred in the header (as you can imagine comparing above with logo below)
In… Theme options>Banner Code For Header #4…I would like to add the following inline css styling in an iframe for example, to vertically centre the Tagline (ie bring it down level with the middle of the logo)
2. iframe src=”http://image_URL.png” style=”vertical:align: middle;” width=”200” height=”200” /iframe
This doesnt seem to do anything different to the method in 1.
3. div style=”vertical-align: middle;” iframe src=”http://image_URL.png” width=”200” height=”200” /iframe /div
still doesnt work.
I have got to the point where my head is so full of nonworking methods i cant progress further.
Can someone help with this one?
p.s i have tried to find some inline css styling tutorials (specifically about vertical alignment) for the <image> tag in html 5 without any luck.
damn w3c for depreciating the html vertical alignment method in html5!
Hi guys, just wondering… I would like to disable the ability for users to navigate to a page from the parent item on the main navigation menu.
Instead, i would like only the “sub menu pages” to be clickable…thereby navigating users to the appropriate submenu pages.
Please note….i still want the parent menu items to be visible.
how do i do this?
Hi guys, this one seems to elude me. Is there a widget available that allows an image map to work?
as above, i have an number of thumbnail sized images with multiple URL hotspots on each. Each image contains app links that a user may click to download (one for iphone and one for android devices)
hmmm. I thought that since are both written in php and use database backend it would be an easy integration?
This is obviously something i know little about, so forgive my line of questioning…
in what way would it be a problem for wordpress?
For example…what additional requirements are there for POS systems beyond the following; 1. Database 2. common language (php) 3. hardware (barcode scanner, cashier register) 4. ecommerce ability (eg shopping cart with unique identifiers…QR code or barcode could be inserted as a custom field and set to both ‘unique’ and ‘required’) 4. I am assuming that the sticking point is with the payment gateway…this would be where the cashier part comes into play. i would imagine that writing some code to process the transaction (select cash or electronic…both of which are already available in many ecommerce plugins) to open the drawer to process the transaction for cash or, go to electronic merchant account to process Credit/efpos card and print reciept, shouldnt be too difficult (obviously, im not the person for this…otherwise i would already have the solution to this entire line of questioning)
i sense that getting all the barcodes into the CMS ecommerce facility might take some doing…one would need a way of scanning existing barcodes into the database for given products (surely some SQL insert or update querying should be able to do this easily enough)
I guess the reason i am probing this idea is because of Wordpress built in administration abilities and storage being contained all in the one place and accessible from dashboard. It seems to be a very efficient way to manage ones store. I have a friend who runs a POS sales and management business and the complexity involved in his clients utilising his servers and WAN is siginifcant. There simply has to be a better way! (remembering, my idea is about a browser and hosting based solution).
If this were possible, i wonder about wordpress multisite being the way to go too? I wonder if it would be more efficient for an POS seller administrator to manage using this kind of setup?
