For how long will the history of username changes be displayed on that user’s profile page?
I am looking for a theme but it should be very light on loading , google webmaster tools compatiable. Images should be less used , there should not be many css & jquery files
I think you wanted to say that they should have a high score on Google PageSpeed
Using a WordPress theme will not give a high score of Page Speed…If speed and less files is what you are looking for, I would recommend you to better choose a HTML template. In that one, you can make customizations easier, you can put all js files in one, all css files in one, use offline files, etc.
In the last years I was often in the situation when I had to create websites for some people. Most of the times, the most difficult part for me is to choose the domain name for them. They want to build a startup, but often they do now have a name yet, nor a website. So my question:
How do you find good domain names? Or clever startup names?
I know there are domain name generators, but usually they generate strange names and usually the nice domain names .com are already taken.
Is there a certain skill for this? There are some specialized people who usually create brands and domain names?
The community will be able to be more helpful with an advice if you also post a design screenshot, or a link to the live demo website…
I plan to refactor some code, but first I would like to ask you:
from your experience, using HTML custom data attributes negatively affects the SEO?
For me, the design seems harder.
I often see on freelancing websites people who confuse these two, asking for “designer to code a WordPress theme” for instance
Regarding your speed, its hard to say without being logged in into your dashboard.
In fact, it’s possible to diagnose without being logged in.If you go in Google Chrome browser to the top-right upper menu, to More tools->Developer tools, you can make page speed audits and network diagnosis (which resource takes longer to load): http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cohXrXf1Pl
In this case, caren98, your website has loading speed issues due to: - favicon image (and also some other resources) is hosted on another server which server sometimes is slower or returns a “not found” message - there are some issues regarding the order in which css and js files are loaded, Google Chrome diagnosis shows it clearly (but my opinion is that this is because of the many plugins, not because of the theme) - the images from the front slider are not optimized for web => they load slowly - there is a file named red-style.css (or something like this) and it’s hosted again on another server of yours. If possible, all the resources (especially custom created CSS files) should be hosted on the same server with the main website - I have also noticed some issues with the google tag manager script, I’m not sure if it’s used correctly.
I don’t know, I would rather say that even if you have an up-to-date perfect theme, if you are using a lot of plugins, the plugins can break the website or influence the page loading if they are not coded properly.
My recommendation is to talk to someone or hire a developer to take a closer look and to fix things for you.
I have seen lately several threads in which people (including me) were searching for a certain theme with certain features (certain features that are not available as search parameters, so you cannot find them easily).
Maybe someone has the time to create a page with a service (free or paid) to search themes based on various requirements.
Let’s say, the buyer enters the page, writes his requirements and someone (or a certain team) can reply with a list of themes that comply with the requirements.
I know Envato has a service like this for corporate customers, but maybe this can be extended to a new level.
What are you saying?
