chiccosinalo, i forwarded your mail to the friend, he should contact you within the next days. I liked your portfolio best and also knew some of your work here on GR before.
Thanks everyone else for the interest, unfortunately i had to choose one person.. maybe next time.
Hi Logo Designers!
A friend of mine plans to launch his own fashion/clothing label, for which he still needs a logo.
The main part of the logo shall be a skull with a crown. (neither too playful nor too evil)
Addtionioally he needs a logo version displaying the label’s name “crone” whereat the “o” is replaced with the skull-logo.
If youre interested, please give a link to a portfolio/references so that I can get an overview of the skills and forward the most suitable designer for this job to my friend.
Payment will be discussed with him.
Thanks for reading
bought the gigabyte notebook yesterday I guess the design- & weight factor was simply the most important one for me, apart from the hardware of course..
Omg, it is completly yellow on my screen ?!
edit: ok… I read the soultion now
Thanks for your replies !
SmartCreative saidI like the Samsung Series 9 but as its starting from 1500-1600€, i think the price is a little too high.
Gigabyte , but why don’t you buy a Sony or Samsung ?
mrcharlesbrown saidThey seem to have great specs, but unfortunately they are a bit too thick and heavy (almost 3kg) for my taste, and to be honest, I dont really like the overall design of the toshiba notebooks :/
I have been using Toshiba for some years now and it is a machine that works as hard as me. It has never been repaired and works great.
Still looking for more replies and recommendations or tips
oh, damn, I guess I need my own domain then ?
Well, thanks anyways, I had a great time using leafping
might look for some alternatives
I plan to buy a notebook/ultrabook but can’t really decide. I’m searching and wondering which one to take since weeks…
I’ve shortlisted these two laptops:
Lenovo IdeaPad U530touch
You can also recommend other machines, but I want to stick to windows, so no apple products please.
Whats important for me:
- Hardware (8gb, ssd) (4th gen. haswell would be cool too, but no big choice here unfortunately) - Design
- Slim & Light
-(1400€ should be the absolute limit)
I want to use the laptop for studies (so the factor slim & light is important), photoshop, programming, later maybe video editing etc, and a bit of gaming (not that often, I have a good desktop pc)
Thanks for any tip
