I think that too is restricted by Envato copyright compliance regulations. I read somewhere in a post from an offical of Envato, staff member, that you can’t use images acquired from Google images in your templates. I’m pretty sure that is still in effect. You would be best off using either your own images or the images from the asset library.
what is the link of asset library ?
It would be a considerate thing to do, but you can’t use external links to other sites like, Google, MySpace, FaceBook and others, so it would be my assessment that given the site you are referring to promotes different licensed material, and that it is an external website outside of Envato jurisdiction, you most likely can not link back to their website.
yeah, i think so too. thanks mate for clearing this issue. but what if i get the images from google images ? can i use them ?
many sites say: link back to us. Can i give them link in the template i am selling for themeforest ?
thanks, howz my template ? i want to sell it first as PSD Template ?
hey guys, I am working on my first template for selling at themeforest but from where i can get images or icons that can be used in my template for selling ?
Please check my template Screen shot
and let me know what i should do for acceptance.
waiting for more suggestions !
Well right now the script only works with the options that are currently set. James is saying that if you turned this into something that is abstract and can be reused multiple times, it would seem more suitable for customers.
this can be converted to any kind of widget. they just have to make a change in the file that query from database.
can u give me some suggestion about how i can make it abstract ?
So Sad , i just read the email from james. They rejected my component by saying
- Does not appeal to our customers. Try making something buyers can implement in their own projects… Perhaps you could adapt this to a PHP class that developers can re-use in multiple projects.
how i can meet the quality requirements ?
