While people in the public forum could help you, for dedicated theme support you should always contact the author of the theme as you apparently already did That way the author can verify your purchase and give you support.

Yeah I recommend following them on twitter or checking their fb group. I tend to get nervous when the marketplaces are down but they always post official notes which calms me down ^^
