Hey dudes,

It seems something has changed of late on Twitter. Have you managed to make any progress? A client of two fo mine are saying their twitter readers are not working any more.

Have you implemented the Twitter API OAuth process? and registered your application with twitter.com?

I recently got a bamboo as a present. I haven’t gotten used to it yet, and right now I can’t really justify the time invetment in order to get ued to it. Right now it changes my work flow to a snail’s pace. In one day I’m doing so many things with so many programs, trying to get used to the bamboo for all of these things would mean weeks of this slow speed. As a freelancer, I would be on the street!

If I was just going to use it for photoshop, I would need to be switching over and back from mouse to bamboo constantly and would elongate the getting-used-to process further.

I’m using a 1920×1200 26” monitor and the bamboo is so small, I find that when I’m hovering the pen over, say a button, and I want to click, as I lower the pen to touch the tablet ie. click, the slight change in the angle of my hand means the pen moves off the active area of the button and I miss it. The only way to avoid this would be to hold the pen completely vertical and as close to the tablet as possible, but this amount of stiff-handed concentration, would be too much, and probably worse for rsi than a mouse.

I don’t know whether these greviences are all part of the getting-used-to period, or are due to the far to great size miss match of my tablet and my monitor, but they forced me back to the mouse pretty quicly.

Anyone else experience this?

Last comment, don’t worry :)

The November 1st 2009 we introduced the “slogan rotator” for the first time… after 3 weeks we saw the first “descendants”, today almost all the rotators present that look.

I’m still waiting to see the next generation of rotator that will replace that successful (not really for us) format.

Design isn’t important, design isn’t protect here.

On June 25 ‘09 I uploaded a slideshow item which had animated slogans / captions which were editable via xml. It definitley wasn’t fabulous from a design point of view, but if we are talking about, developing the design of a simple banner with slogans, then this is just one example of something predating your slogan rotator, and though I haven’t looked, I’m sure there are more.

That’s why I don’t use the italian flag in my profile. I feel ashamed to be part of such a ridicolous land. :zipped:
well, at some point of my live I wanted to live in Rome. Even I started learning Italian, my boss is Italian, one of my colleagues is Italian. We have here Italian Cafe in our building, love the pizza. I couldn’t say that the land is bad. It is nice, the politicians are bad but not only in Italy. ;)
I have been to many parts of Italy both rural and urban and I too am very fond of the country. The weather is great, the language sounds great, the lansdcape (in parts) is amazing, and the food is just awesome! Rome is a great city. :)

I wish you could invite me in Ireland LOL :D

I would love to visit you! :P

I can drink, sing and dance! I promise! :P

Well, if I lived in Ireland I could, but at the moment I live in Budapest, Hungary. The beer is cheaper here :) , though there is not as much singing, but the dance is just as funny as the Irish one! ;)

Altertnatively, just take a screenshot of the menu without the “buy this file” banner at the top of the screen, and tell the client this is the design and the file needs to be coded yet. Then you can justify your price, as i’m guessing you’re not offering it to your client for $7 :)

The only potential flaw is that you have to hope that any changes the client wants in the design can be done easily, but then again if they can’t , you can just do the same procedure with another menu which more closely matches the design change requests.
