I also just received a 1 star rating because a customer expected to get the photos inside the template as well, even though it’s written big on the item description page that the preview photos are NOT included in the download :|

Here’s the comment too: “yes I bought the ahbe but the women psd is not even drins”

Wtf am i supposed to understand from this anyway, apart that he expected the women to be “drins” after buying the “ahbe” ?:))

It really is unfair when you get a 1 star rating because the customer does not read the instructions or description:|

Hi all,

http://demo.ikaruna.com/vcard – vcard theme got rejected again with no specific reason, can you give me a few suggestions on what you think a vCard should contain to be accepted?

Thanks!

I do have an unclear point too, don’t know if it has been asked – if after the 6 months, you have a buyer that asks for support ( and he didn’t buy a support package, or you are not offering one at all) – if you do not answer, will he be able to rate you 1 star for not answering, for “bad support”? And how will these ratings be differentiated, how can this be honestly prevented?
Ratings and the support tab will be disabled after 6 months. Item downloads will continue to exist for customers as long as you’re selling on Envato :)
Does it mean that new customers also would not be able to rate at all? Like, 5 stars maybe?:D
It’s only after the 6 months :) As in, if I purchased an item from you, I can rate you for 6 months. Not on the 7th. It’s not the age of the item, but the amount of time the customer has after purchase.

Oh, that would make sense indeed :)

Well you should improve many areas in fact, from typography to color and composition – you should use some colors for contrast, but don’t overdo it, you can also play with font matching – your fonts now don’t contrast enough and don’t say much. That brown rounded “Purchase Now” button is waaay too 80’s :) Take good care of small details and very importantly, have a strong concept behind the theme, otherwise you will lack consistency. Ask yourself, if you were the owner of a business or a feelancer, would you want your personal website to be this one, and if so, do you have all the details that you want to impress on your customers, upfront? ( for ex you may add a small topbar with some relevant info, mail, phone, some social icons, etc). And most importantly, spend A LOT of time looking around at themes that are considered beautiful, not just here on TF:) Good luck!:)
