Hello, I have written code in code behind of button click event, but that code is not working on server.

My button is: //this is asp button <asp:Button ID=”btnSubmit” runat=”server” TabIndex=”1” Text=”Submit” Style=”display:none” causesvalidation=”false” onclick=”btnSubmit_Click” Height=”20px” />

//This is input type submit button <input id=”subReg” class=”button” causesvalidation=”false” type=”submit” name=”subReg” value=”Submit” onclick=”javascript:TestCodeBehind2(‘btnSubmit’)” />

I am calling asp button click event from javascript as TestCodeBehind2().

Here is code for javascript: function TestCodeBehind2(input) { if(input == ‘btnSubmit’) { document.getElementById(’<%= btnSubmit.ClientID %>’).click(); } }

Please let me know asap.

Thanks.

It works when take up html input buttons. But the style does not get applied when we take a asp.net button control. For html input buttons, we do not have code behind like aspx page i.e. c# code. we cannot invoke the click event for which the code is written in c# file. So we need to make the style work for asp.net button control.

Please help.

Also, when we create a master pages using asp.net and place a content in another page, it creates a lot of empty space in the page. Below the is the code which asp.net master page and refer to the comment where the other page getting included.

/////Code////// Master page content: <%@ Master Language=”C#” AutoEventWireup=”true” CodeFile=”frmMaster.master.cs” Inherits=”frmMaster” %>

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC ”-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1 .0 Transitional//EN” “http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd”>

<html xmlns=”http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml”> <head id=”Head1” runat=”server”> <title>Home</title> <link href=”css/style.css” title=”style” rel=”stylesheet” type=”text/css” /> <link id=”clink” href=”css/style-blue.css” title=”style” rel=”stylesheet” type=”text/css” media=”screen”/> <script src=”http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.6.1/jquery.min.js” type=”text/javascript”></script> ////All scripts .js//// <asp:ContentPlaceHolder id=”head” runat=”server”> </asp:ContentPlaceHolder> </head>

<form id=”form1” runat=”server”> <asp:ContentPlaceHolder id=”ContentPlaceHolder1” runat=”server”> ///This content comes from other individual pages/////// </asp:ContentPlaceHolder> </form>

Hello,

Please let I know how to apply same css for more than one button on same page.

I have one button as follows which is working fine for single button:

<input id=”consubmit” type=”submit” name=”consubmit” value=”Sign In” onclick=”javascript:TestCodeBehind2()” />

Introducing another button on page like below :

<input id=”consubmit1” causesvalidation=”false” type=”submit” name=”consubmit1” value=”Cancel” onclick=”javascript:TestCodeBehind3()” />

If we change name and id for the button then that css not working properly.

Please let me know how to solve this issue.

Thanks
