Have been managing support for 3 accounts on ThemeForest (5 themes). Every few days, there’s always going to be one angry customer who wants his ticket answered asap. If his first one doesn’t get answered within an hour, he’ll create 2 to 3 new ones.
Some buyers can be so impatient and ungrateful.
It is true, adding a lot of features requires a lot of time investment and maintenance, apart from that, dealing with a lot more complex support questions. Authors who are investing more time adding more features do deserve a higher price than those who are not. That’s how it works. Even if the framework is old and built a couple of years ago.

There is not a lot of difference between the custom bars. Envato can just make sure that they offer all the necessary features demanded by the authors and they should also make sure that the iframe bar is brandable but tbh, envato has been too slow in implementing new features for e.g the rating system (ref in above post) and the multiple users on one author, it might just take too long to happen.
A note: Not willing to experiment with new designers. Want to partner with designers who actually have approved items on ThemeForest and know how to make a design that sells! Making a design that sells is very hard.
