hope this does not come across as patronizing but do feel sorry for those authors who have spent time on their christmas projects only for some of these then to be reviewed and appear on the list after the event. seen this happen with other events too such as halloween etc.

know the reviewers do spend a lot of time reviewing and passing projects, and guess they have to deal with everything in order of first come first served, but surely christmas projects are a priority too..

unfortunately some buyers may not take much notice of what is required to run a project correctly like additional plugins etc. they may not read which min version of AE is compatible, they may not have AE whatsever and just assume the template will work with any video editing suite. these kinda people will often blame anyone else but themselves. these kinda people will then seek to give negative or average feedback.

my own personal assumptions anyway!

still fail to understand why the many buyers here do not leave comments compared to authors.

surely its a polite way of doing things, but can only guess many buyers do not care once they have purchased the product.

loved Snow white and the Huntsman, and adored Breaking Dawn part 2.

actually enjoyed the re-make of Total recall too. maybe due to liking Colin Farrell anyway!

any VH buyer with an ounce of common sense will realize that the person who purchased your project did so without a little or some prior knowledge of AE, and only downloaded the trial anyway.

negative comments like this should not matter as its just an opinion from one person compared to the many positives you have received.

maybe its just me, but kinda feel that the current influx of AE projects on offer, are just not that impressive or inspiring compared to say, this time last year. apart from a few, many halloween projects have been disappointing too. nothing really compels one to purhcase anything at the moment. do not wish to knock authors for the amount of work they put in, but come on.. produce something to WOW us again!

still insist on following the older authors too as they have produced some amazing projects that still look good today.

watched many projects that i really want to buy, but many of those projects seemed to be still aimed at the male market, and many of these authors still insist on creating projects with and including male characteristics in mind such as male arms/hands etc.

seems VH is much dominated by male authors, but maybe some could get in touch with their feminine side and produce a project that includes female characteristics instead!
