IDK if this is exactly what you need but Flashloaded makes a Professional and customizable CMS built in Flash:

Flashloaded FCMS Pro

Hello !

I really need something just like your Elite XML / Full XML V3 Website Template developed entirely in AS3 ; preferably with SWFAddress / Deeplinking.

Please consider updating your templates to AS3 . I cannot work with true MP4 H .264 streaming F4V using templates based on AS2 since H.264 was implemented for FVSS3 +

Thank you so much!!

I think he means which files from the various FlashDen components need to be uploaded.

The answer is: Most of them probably =) But not the FLA file.

The SWF , any XML , graphics files, HTML perhaps…. look at the instructions with the module you downloaded and if there isn’t any userguide then be more specific and we can try and help =)

Looks like the Longtail video ad-solution with the open sourced JW player would be a good fit.

RTMP supported, skinnable player, flashvar customizable. Longtail offers the advertising options at low rates to go with the $30 commercial license fee for the JW Player.

RTMP Playback would mean that the video is NOT cached on the client system. YouTube uses Progressive Download HTTP , not RTMP . RTMP is true streaming and does not cache.

Perhaps you are confused about the terms?

Hope this helps.

A .fla file, when published and compiled, creates the .swf file. Depending on the settings when the original author published the .swf you may not be able to do anything with it.

The swf file is usually the ‘loader’ for Flash Video when it is used in conjunction with video / audio. So the .swf is responsible for connecting to and playing the .flv file.

Looks like what you really need is not the SWF , which is the loader file probably, but the FLV file.

You don’t really convert SWFs to FLV or FLA . I doubt that SWF contains the content that you want either; as I said it probably just connects to the source FLV file.

Hope this helps

AFAIK none of the players here do that. I have only found one affordable commercial component that supports both H.264 and true RTMP streaming, and that is the FLVPlayerPRO from Flashloaded

The ‘Pro’ version of that file works for most of my needs (I stream H.264 F4V files from a FMS3 server) but is not aesthetically and functionally all I desire.

If there are developers with more components of this fashion in the works please let me know as I will gladly purchase them.
