As a suggestion i really can’t say if its currently used, i think there should be a two way approach while accepting theme. Firstly design approach, if its accepted the theme should be sent to check its coding technique.

Seeing the type of theme’s getting accepted i think surely a developer must be approving the uploaded items not a designer

I really can’t point the themes coz of forum rules but give me the liberty surely will.

Another thing that i noticed in the item discussion section, people are just constantly uploading rejected themes. I mean if i would do a 100 times it will automatically get accepted as the reviewer himself/herself will get tired up pointing out the things.

I think there must be thing like maximum uploads per item per month, maybe 5-10 or something. Once its accepted the maximum uploads shall be no longer valid for that item.

Talking about power elite authors, they have already earned the exposure. Also they have teams of designers working together or for support.

What about those designers working alone day and night,spending months to get the design right, but not getting the right exposure.

Yes everyone has the right to earn but everyone should also have the eye required for designing. I mean for authors who spend months designing aren’t getting the right exposure.

Its not only about money its about one’s effort that he/she put’s while designing and after all that what he gets 5-10 sales. I think he/she deserves a lot more.

I really can’t say i’m a good designer or a decider but i think people who really deserve get pushed down from the themeforest’s featured column in a short period nowadays. Sometimes even in a day.

I mean themes with no sense of design are getting accepted at such a rate.

Hope to see themeforest back to its earlier standards

Saw some poorly designed themes on homepage today with just some content and animations.

I think we should keep this thread active to keep it on forum frontpage to remind the staff about the topic’s seriousness. So people discuss things on this topic here and comment to keep this thread alive.

I think i’m seeing some strange behavior in the forum search box. Whenever i search the first time i goes right but when i do the search again both the previous and current searches get added up.
