Someone might have touched on this in an earlier response, but in the US there are big legal ramifications for including the cost of credit card/payment processing in the price of a product. Mostly because of those lovable lobbyists in DC.
Could scummy lawyers interpret the pricing structure as not kosher?
Not trying to start trouble- it’s just an interesting concept for online marketplaces in general.

I’m messing around with a theme I already have for sale on TF. It’s called Billyburg Magazine and it’s pretty different from a lot of the WP themes on here.
Just wanted to see what all the smart people on the forums thought of me emulating a more flash like interface with jQuery (I know, I know, that’s not what it’s for…) since it’s already filed under experimental. I’m not terribly concerned with practicality, since this is more of an exploration of the “true print look” concept I’ve set out to emulate.
Here’s a vid of a very rough implementation of my idea: www.jamesmalley.com/billymotion.mov
Designers/Developers: yay, nay, hey hey?
This suggestion may be scoffed at by the more seasoned programmers, since there are more flexible alternatives, but I just wanted to recommend Xampp . It’s an Apache, PHP , and MySQL all-in-one installer. I got up and running and testing my themes without being near an internet connection in under 30 mins.
Thought that might be helpful to anyone who travels a lot or wants to test plugins and themes without being hindered by a slow internet connection. Just make sure you go through the steps to make it secure after installing!
Anyone use anything else like this? Or just install Apache etc on their own?
I was wondering this as well, but now there are so many themes on here I like, I will probably buy one every time someone buys one of my themes. So much for making money on this site
Great tip, thank yee. No reason to bog down the main themeforest server(s).
This would be amazing if implemented well. I guess revenue percentages would have to be assigned / agreed-upon early on?
If this isn’t already a feature, would it be possible to upload a short (15-30 second) video to demonstrate theme functionality before it is purchased? Is that an absurd bandwidth-sucking request?
If not, will the live preview:
1. Allow users to see how the back-end is customized per theme?
2. Be affected by the size of the browser window to see how the theme behaves at different window sizes?
