Hi There! just to let you know that the EU is looking again into the “EU VAT” seems like they have realise that they have created a big mess trying to make pay the big companies.

Just yesterday, on 14th April 2015, Andrus Ansip, the EU Commissioner responsible for the digital single market said this about VATMOSS to the European Parliament’s internal market committee: “We wanted to protect but we somehow destroyed those businesses so we have to somehow fix those problems… The member states rejected proposals by the Commission to set thresholds quite high. I myself would like to repeat this proposal and I hope member states will now be able to understand how important this is for family businesses, self-employed people and medium-sized businesses.”

There is a web I have found that are gathering people and businesses affected by the the “EU VAT” regulation and they are in contact with some authorities in the highest level. You can follow them and hear the latest updates concerning the “EU VAT” here:

http://euvataction.org/updates/

I hope they will fix it soon.

Is there any way to disable all files at once and wait till this PLATFORM will be correctly implemented?

Hi Baranq, you can send them a ticket trough support/help and mention about your situation, I have done it, and they have soft disable al my files until I decide what to do. For now I will keep them hide to avoid any risk for me and those who buy until I have things more clear.

Ok, I was just explaining a bit of the new changes that just took place. And since this was an invitation for a meetup in south Spain, I thought it was fine to write in Spanish.

Ok, with this new business model Envato is now a “platform” and the authors are the Direct Sellers, then please explain me why:

- Authors are divided by Exclusive and Non-Exclusive

- Envato decides the item licences by Regular and Extended

- Envato decides the item Prices

- Envato decides to Accept or Reject the item

- Envato manages the Author Credits (the new model is to be a bank too? I just remember that the $ simbol inside were credits and not real dollars as written inside the agreement).

- Envato send the withdrawl to the author when must be the buyer to pay directly the author with real money, not envato credits.

If a Buyer pays with “Credits” then there is no a real money flow that justify an invoice with real money.

Envato, can you please create a non-ambiguous document that explains all this mess? Thank you!

Maybe also a way to disable/hide files until things get clear.

Hola!

I was wondering If there is a way to disable the files I would like to do it until this gets clarified. I have contacted support, if not maybe time to find other platform that are willing to do it properly, help and protect both his customers and Authors.
