Template-Geek saidIt effects to non-elite authors, Avada is still having good sales.
bdthemes saidWait for the bundle to go
What happen to envato? every on saying no sale no sale (me too) so where going all sales?
Avada and those popular item owners (not all) are running their own marketing strategies (Google Adwords?). No wonder why they always having good sales.
Don’t compare us to them.
erwin_schro saidThat’s what I’m afraid of, especially in our country.
Jthemes saidNope, the next economic crisis is here…

U.S Dollar is so strong.
I need shoulder
jonathan01 saidDon’t know if it’s same for you regarding the visitors but for me, if I had 0.01$ for each visit, I would be rich
Madeon08 saidExactly the same here – actually it’s 100% total silence. Zero sales.
Almost total silence for last 24h…
talking about preview site visits, how about put Google adsense ads? is that allowed?
WordPress or joomla, om?
I just realized that when we search something, the result page is shows the most popular first rather than the newest items by default. This algorithm is just like Google. I don’t like it.
PS: yup, today is the first time I try the market search function
PSS: Popular items already have heaven page called Popular items, and they have Premium position on search page by default.
PSSS: Popular items also sometimes get special mentions on envato market blog.
We as regular author sometimes feel sad about this situations.
Envato should absolutely rethink their affiliate program, and Envato should do it by considering Google’s new strategies on SERPs. Affiliate Marketing is not as easy as it were 5-6 years ago (to be honest, it’s far and far from being easy; Panda, Penguin, updates ; etc. etc.)
A market’s “affiliateProgram” should be lucrative, and not only for those who started 7 years ago, but also for NEW promoters.
Now, the competition among affiliate marketers are already very strong, especially in the niches like, WordPressThemes, LandingPages, HTML Templates, Flyers, Brochures etc. etc.
And Envato is acting like, “don’t waste time to promote our marketplace because our affiliate system will not make money for you ; it will not worth your time”...
Affiliate Marketing is really hard, and the rewards should be worth the ammount of time and effort put by affiliates.
Envato should give a percentage of commission from each sale of the SAME product, which is promoted by an affiliate.
Affiliate Marketing is the easiest and the most cost effective way to promote a marketplace. Let your affiliate marketers do it for uncomparable low costs. But first, create an affiliate system that’s REALLY attractive and REALLY works for the affiliate marketers.
With the current state (one of the worst Affiliate Marketing Program on the entire web), no one will promote Envato, you can be sure about that.
Envato, why don’t you examine what your competitors’ afiliate marketing programs are offering to their affiliates?
Would you waste your time to promote your own marketplace in such conditions?
Please rethink about this, Envato.
can’t agree more.
