Since every plugin should work with every theme (at least it should have proper functionality in the backend), this means that either theme author or plugin author are wrong. If the plugin works when you switch the theme, ask for a refund on theme, otherwise, ask for a refund on plugin.

It’s not always quite that simple. If the issue is a JS or PHP conflict, then I agree that’s generally a good way to identify the culprit.

A CSS conflict isn’t necessarily indicative of a broken theme or plugin, though. While PHP and JS need to run independently in a theme and plugin, there is inheritance and therefore a (sometimes unavoidable) interaction of styles with CSS. Of course, there are good and bad ways to code the CSS (I’ve seen a lot of overly generic CSS code cause very annoying issues with plugin integration), and writing modular CSS to avoid conflicts should always be the goal – but a CSS conflict doesn’t mean either product is necessarily at fault.

That being said, I assume when you ask if “functionality” is broken, you’re not referring to styling, only to functional code – however, I don’t think the average buyer necessarily makes that distinction – so I think there may be a bit of a disconnect here, and that was really my point after reading this thread :)

So is the error causing plugin not to function properly?
yes exactly. kadiross @ hotmail .fr contact me please to show u

My suggestion would be to contact the author of the plugin once more. If there will be no result, ask Envato for a refund. Since every plugin should work with every theme (at least it should have proper functionality in the backend), this means that either theme author or plugin author are wrong.

If the plugin works when you switch the theme, ask for a refund on theme, otherwise, ask for a refund on plugin.

Thank U , i deactivated the theme when i work on the web form plugin i get this error

uncaught Error: NotFoundError: DOM Exception 8 mate for yoUncaught Error: NotFoundError: DOM Exception 8

Hey kadiross, no worries, since the thread is now currently in the Item Requests section, I’m sure someone from the community can/will apply for the job. Good luck.

Hi kadiross, this is a general open forum, the appropriate support forum for this theme can be found here.

Or, you can interact directly with the author here. The link takes you to the item’s Comments section, where you can also browse previous posts for additional information and/or troubleshooting.

Just leave the author a quick comment and he’ll gladly point you in the right direction. Good luck.

Hi, i’m sorry for bothering you i have already contacted them they said contact the plugin author and he says update the plugin, the same thing!!

i’m looking for someone who can fix my and i pay him if you allow me please

thanks

You can use a Learning Management WordPress Theme. There`s one out here. If you search on ThemeForest: http://themeforest.net/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&term=learning you`ll know that the first one might be a good fit! :)

Ohh thank you mate i’ll take a look thank you very much !
