This would be wonderful, but I think I don’t quite qualify for that. I am going release different Photoshop tutorials. These tutorials belong basically to the same “category”, but really aren’t a series, like a TV show. On the other hand, they are a “series of my tutorials”, but that’s the tricky part…
Thank you for the answer and I am going to scan the licenses a little bit.
Hey AJ Authors,
I would like to use a portion of a Audiojungle file in my Youtube videos. It is for the intro of the video, but I would like to use it in every video I make. What kind of license should I buy ? Do you maybe have a common “Authors Agreement” on this kind of usage ?
Dream-Theme saidHey Miroslav, with all due respect you are being a little unfair and I think you should not speak for the “majority of authors”. This is a proposal, it needs to be discussed and understood well. No one is against offering support (as far as I’ve read in this thread), try to understand other opinions better. I hope you don’t mind me saying it like this.
I’m trying to understand those of you who is strongly against the whole support thing. But I can’t. Particularly I do not understand why the majority of authors who want to officially guarantee the support to their customers can’t do so because of couple of dozens of people on forums who is strongly against it?
Sure I’m not.
Please understand me. I’m not saying “this is perfect, everyone please shut up”. This IS a proposal and it SHOULD be discussed.
If my comments were a bit harsh, they were addressed exclusively to naysayers (sorry for calling people in this way). Those who are strongly against the new support policy just in sake of disagreeing.
Main idea is “Why authors who want to provide the support officially have to be artificially equalized to those who don’t?”
I think what the other authors are trying to say is that Envato basically wants everybody to continue what they are doing now, but taking a 30% cut. For the 30% they are providing authors with a sign: “The author of this item is providing support.”, nothing else.
Also, they want to monetize support, not updates. It should be the other way around.
I am not sure if this has been already posted… and it isn’t so much about the Faceted Search, but the search algorithm.
Basically, if I do a search for “minimal tumblr”, then I will get good results for minimal Tumblr themes, but there are some WordPress themes too. I understand that the search searches from the description, but couldn’t you eliminate irrelevant categories, if a category name is present in the search, in this case “tumblr”.
Thank you for your time, Doru!
Unfortunately I have been on both places and they basically lead to nowhere.
Hey fellow members,
My goal is to get in to contact with sales or marketing department of the above mentioned companies. I have searched for a while now, but with no luck. They have some massive forms for support, but nothing generic as I would like.
Could someone please steer me into right direction ?
Please post a demo link, so fellow authors can help you out.
All the best,
Authors usually redirect the url to their own site, because Themeforest iFrame breaks the site responsiveness. But it is pretty easy to find the theme, just type the logo into Themeforest search and 99% of the time the theme just pops up.
All the best,
The overall look isn’t bad at all, but it is very generic and doesn’t offer any”wow” effect, design-wise. I would look over white-space usage – your margins and paddings don’t seem to be consistent.
About functionality, when I go to “Blog” or “Contact”, then there is no way to get back to the main page. Only the logo brings me back to the main page, which is a pretty significant UX issue.
All the best,
