I got an idea that might make everyone happy.

How about Envato continues to release these 2-week long bundles, but whenever a bundle is out, everyone is making 80-100% on their sales. That way, your sales may go down, but get evened out with higher profit.

The Envato team started this for themselves, so I doubt they are making plans on selling any time soon. However, if someone came to them with a large enough offer (i.e. facebook buying instagram for a billion) I’m sure they’ll take it, but that does NOT mean we’d be gone. If anything, it would most likely be run by the same guys and have even more money to invest/expand.

I’m looking to drop some cash into a serious work chair too. I’ve been looking at the Aeron line but I want to sit in one before I spend that much. I get bad pain in the middle back between the shoulder blades all the time. Would be great to find a chair that would help with that.

The Aeron line is amazing. I have a buddy here in Seattle that has an office filled with these and I instantly saw a difference when I sat in one. It’s not like “ohh my god this chair is so confortable” type of chair, but no matter how long you sit in one, you never get the urge to standup/stretch.

For anyone interested, they are a bit expensive but for a job where you sit 90% of the work day, it should be your #1 priority.

KingDog, definitely see one before buying it though. They come in different sizes and should be “fitted”.

Was a funnier and definitively more friendly place, but honestly, the only one making money at that time was DS, so i think i’ll stick here.

There were definitely a few top authors making good money back then, but I remember DS saying how he was making somewhere around $10k a month and that was extreme, which still would be. But now we’ve got some of the top authors on themeforest making $50k+ a month (no offense DS )

As much as I hate the idea of one of these big names (Apple/Google) owning everything, I really do wish there was just one browser for us all to develop on.

At least get rid of Internet Explorer completely. That alone would increase web creativity by a few thousand percent!

Haha, yeah I know… I do have many friends that have read the books though and try to ruin it for me all the time!
