Hello lorangeriestudio, you asked for the thread to be removed.
Did you need to see your original question so you could send it to the author via their support system?
I have just un-removed this thread for you so you may see the original content: http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/avada-wrong-active-menu/103262
As per the previous messages, please use the dedicated item support area rather then the public forum here.Best of luck with the issue,
Oh, ok, I understand now why I could not see it. I had already written through the dedicated item support. Well, all my doubts are solved now and I have been able to access to the post in the dedicated item support.
Sorry for the trouble I’ve given you with my confusion with the forums and posts. I found this system a little bit confusing.
Thank you for your help. I had already read about the support. However, I cannot find the post I wrote. I have even tried clicking on the links “Recent Posts” and “Threads started” that pop up when the mouse rolls over my user avatar. Unfortunately, it displays a page with this post (titled “I cannot find the post”), but the missing post does not appear…
I am afraid that I will have to create it again. I did not want to do it without trying hard first to find the missing post because I know how annoying are duplicated posts and threads in forums.
Any other ideas to find the missing post titled Avada – Wrong active menu before creating a new post about the same topic again?
Thank you in advanced
I posted a problem that I have with Avada template. I have received an email with a answer. I have tried it and it did not work. Then, I have tried to answer the post in the forum, so I have clicked on the link to the post that appears in the email that informed me about the reply to my post. No luck! It opens a page in the forum but my post is not there.
According to the email, this is the link to my post:http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/avada-wrong-active-menu/103262?page=1#847439
I have tried to open a ticket to get some help with it, but Envato’s support ticket page does not consider the forums but other topics. Please, can you help me?
This forum support is becoming a nightmare for me!
Ok. I understand.
Is there any way in which I can remove then this post from this forum?
The wrong menu item is selected and I can’t find why and, thereby, how to solve it. In order to make things easier, I let you know which is the site in which I am working so you can have a look at it and understand the problem: temporal site
I have created a menu link called ‘Blog y talleres’ that points to the page ‘Babulikeando’. It has three submenu items, which are ‘Blog’, ‘Talleres’ and ‘Noticias’. When I click on any of the titles of a post of one of these categories, the item ‘Blog y Talleres’ is displayed as active. This is correct.
The problem is that I have created other two menu items called ‘Books’ and ‘Descargas’. When I click on ‘Books’, for example, I get the page and the custom post types (Portfolio) properly. But then, I click on the title of any of these portfolio posts, it is opened but in the menu the selected menu is ‘Blog y talleres’ instead of ‘Books’.
I have checked the html code of the opened page after clicking on a portolio post located in the Books page, and I have found the following code:
<li id="menu-item-21" class="menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-21"> <a href="http://babulinkabooks.com/temp/books/">Books</a> </li> <li id="menu-item-20" class="menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page current_page_parent menu-item-20"> <a href="http://babulinkabooks.com/temp/babulinkeando/">Blog y Talleres</a> <ul class="sub-menu"> </ul></li>
So, instead of Books menu item, the menu item with class ‘active’ is ‘Blog y talleres’. I have been working on it in order to solve it for a long time but I have not managed. In addition to this, I have tried to find an answer in your forums, but there was no luck with this approach either.
Could you help me, please?
