Shame on Envato 2014. The connection Envato – author isn’t anymore what it was. Nobody is heard, even if a thousand of author are complaining about disturbing changes. They post and ask for feedback, but it’s just to make you think that you are part of the all thing. At the end, they do whatever they want and your opinion is meaningless. There has been a moment I was so angry, I became non exclusive, built my own website, and published my work on other marketplaces. Well, it has been the best decision as I increased my earnings by 2,5. I don’t feel anymore like they own my work and my time. It’s a great feeling.

Great improvement! I would have prefered it placed on the right side though. But this is just my opinion.

Hi! I’m currently building my own shop and will have to make the step to Non Exclusive author. I read (but donot remembe where) that it takes 1 month from the moment you push the button til the change is made. Could you guys please give me a link where everything is explained?

If the experience after that is not what I expected. Will it be possible to come back exclusive? Will I get back my current rate ?

Thanks guys in advance for clarifying.

And the items lose value. For exemple, a flyer cost $6 including fee. Means the flyer on itself is even cheaper than before. This system devalue our items. When some had their price items increased (which at the end makes a balance with the new system ), others are just left aside, especially in print template categories.

To Envato support and this is the answer i got:

“Thanks for contacting Envato Support! My name is …........., and I will be helping you out today! I apologise for the delay though, as we’re currently trying to clear a huge backlog due to an influx of support requests. I took a quick look at the site and I didn’t find anything particular to the marketplace.”

Support then says to explain them more specifically what’s wrong. I had already said it all on the first message, so I gave up.
